HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL DADS OUT THERE!
🎯 Big question. Are stalions good fathers?
Stallions are much too negatively portrayed in our culture: they’re not nearly as dangerous or aggressive as advertised. In the wild, herd stallions recognize and protect their offspring, and observers have often seen dad babysitting the kid while mom takes a well-earned break.

They might groom you back, keep their eyes on you, or nuzzle and breathe softly on your neck. It’s their version of love letters, but more slobbery and much cuter. Ready for love made in the stables? Our latest additions 😍 A dam and her foal. that a foal is the term we use for baby horses. Male foals are called colts and female foals are called fillies. When a mare (female adult horse) has her baby, we say she has foaled. When foals turn one year old, we no longer call them foals but instead we call them yearling.

DO HORSES ENJOY A MASSAGE? 🐎🐎 too enjoy a good stretch and massage. The tail stretch is particularly important. It can help facilitate a level of decompression for the horse that no other exercise can, but horses need your help to accomplish it! In simple terms, manually decompressing the spine of the horse using the tail stretch helps increase the space between the vertebrae. This takes pressure off the discs and allows nutrients to reach the tissues which may have been impeded by the compressed disc space and thereby facilitates the healing process.
