It is kitten season again and I get slot messages from people who have found little kittens without mother or dumped in a pagoda.
2 newbies today and another yesterday. The one ginger yesterday is blind and skin and bones found in a pagoda screaming for help. The 2 today were found near an empty house no mother around and loots of dogs. They are also very emaciated and fleas infested. For their age of 7 weeks they're only weighing 250g, when they should weight double in minimum.

Thank you kind people of Kampot.
Thanks to cat loving humans 4 kittens were adopted recently to very loving and caring homes.
Because they choose to adopt I could answer to a post on the noticeboard who was asking for help for 2 kittens he found on the river road. I could take them in and they are now in the care of the UCP Cat Rescue Project.
They had their first check up at KAMPOT and are now in quarantine for 2 weeks at the Rescue Center.

They are still many kittens and cats whom are looking for their own loving homes. Get your own loving companion by adopting one or 2 😉 from the Rescue Center.

Yesterday's emergency call was about a young cat who just delivered her kittens but then run away and abandoned them. One had still the after birth sack attached on its belly.
If you want to meet them, come to the fundraiser event at Hotel Old Cinema today. They will be there with me because they have to be fed every hour 24/7.

NUNU
When I first met NUNU she was emaciated and not much fur left on her body. But with the help of PPAWS KAMPOT, LINDSAY ANNE and NURIA LOPEZ CONZALES she came back from the death row and now being spayed and back to health.

4 new ones brought in this morning found by a lovely tourist couple at the side if a busy road. Wormed and cleaned up they're starting their 2 weeks quarantine time right away.

Today was RESCUE DAY
3 kittens dumped at the gate of a friend's former landlord and 1 dog. Whom I have seen for quite a while in the neighborhood of a cat sitting job I did to maintain my cat rescue.
The kittens are save and sound at my rescue center and the dog has to stay overnight at the vet clinic at PPAWS Kampot. She will be then taking over by Joe the funder of high tide dog sanctuary Kampot.....
Massive thank you to you Joe and the vets at PPAWS. Whom are always doing their best they can to help me with my rescues.

She was found roaming the streets in Kampot and brought in by good Samaritans tourists. After the 2 weeks quarantine trial and her 1.core vaccine she is now enjoying life at the UCP Cat Rescue Center in Kampot. Her favorite spot to be is on my shoulder purring loudly and enjoy the view.
She will be up for Adoption very soon....

BLAKE our newest rescue was brought in early morning by a good Samaritarian with a huge Hernia.
I got him straight to the vet clinic we. I work with PPAWS KAMPOT. They did a nice job to fix the Hernia and Blake is now recovering at the UCP Unicat Rescue Project.

Meet dear Pauli.
The beautiful kitten with the amber colored eyes. Pauli was most likely hit by a bike as he was found injured and could not use his hind legs. 😔

Pauli went through a MASSIVE transformation. For one month he was aggressive, feral, and scared. 😥

All Pauli needed was someone who cared and showed him love, because after one month he turned into the sweetest cuddle bug ever. 🥹😍

Now Pauli is looking for a forever home to give him the same love and more. ❤️ Come meet him for yourself. 😽

UCC Unicatcafe

The UCC Unicatcafe is our new concept for Kampot. Whilst being a non-profit project to help abandoned, abused, injured, and neglected kittens and/or cats, it is also a lovely café for people to relax and be entertained by friendly felines.. With the profit from the cafe we rescue kittens and cats around the Kampot and Kep area in Cambodia and try to find them a loving and caring home or as a “family member”. At the UCC Unicatcafe, they have a better life and receive a lot of love and cuddles from both our customers and staff. A very important part of our project is donations. We, mostly, survive off of donations and it is an important factor in our continued success and our support of the local pet population. All our rescued cats a neutered, vaccinated, and regularly dewormed. They can be adopted, fostered, or sponsored by cat lovers . We feel that it is such a worthy thing to love our furry friends.
