🐷 Seven Tiny Orphans. One Chance at Life. 🐷
Will you help us save them? 💔
Just days ago, we received a call we didn’t expect. A call we really didn’t need, if we’re completely honest.
A mother pig had died suddenly on a local farm, leaving behind seven tiny piglets, just 2-3 days old.
Orphaned. Helpless. Destined to die.
They were born into a system that sees them as products, not as the sweet, intelligent individuals they are.
These babies were meant to be raised for slaughter but when their mum died, a local farming family made an unexpected decision:
They knew these babies needed intensive care, and they knew we could give that.
The only way we accept farmed animals is if we can promise them what the system never will: a life free from betrayal and a death sentence.
We now have a chance to give these seven piglets the life they always deserved. Because they never asked to be born into suffering or into a world where they’d be killed just weeks or months after birth.
💔 Did you know?
In the commercial farming industry, piglets are often killed at 4-6 months old while they’re still babies.
They are taken from their mothers far too soon, often mutilated without pain relief - their teeth clipped, tails cut, ears notched.
Many live their entire lives indoors on concrete floors, never feeling grass, sun, or love.
So when we were told about these piglets, there is no questioning what we’d do.
We didn’t know how we’d manage - the space, the cost, the round-the-clock bottle feeding…
We still don’t, but day by day we will.
“Don’t look away. You’ll always find a way.”
And that’s exactly what Animals of Our World runs on.
Not certainty.
Not security.
But hope. Grit. And heart.
We take risks to save lives and figure out the rest as we go. Because the alternative is doing nothing, and that’s not who we are.
But we need your help.
Desperately.
We’re doing everything we can to give these babies a fighting chance. But seven hungry piglets means seven bottles every few hours. Vet bills. Bedding. Heat. Long-term plans for seven enormous, emotional, and endlessly curious beings.
🐷 Pigs are incredible animals.
They’re smarter than dogs.
They can play video games, recognize their own names, and dream at night - just like we do!
And yet, we treat them as if they don’t matter at all.
But these piglets do matter.
Their lives matter.
And if they were seven orphan puppies, we know how fast the world would rally around them.
We don’t have the luxury of waiting until we "have the funds."
We have to find a way - now.
Do we know what we’ll do when they grow into full-sized pigs and we have no enclosure yet?
No.
We’re still figuring that out.
But right now, our only goal is to keep them alive.
Please, help us do that.
Donate, share, talk about them, believe in what’s possible.
Let’s show the world what happens when compassion comes first.
Let’s dig deep into our piggy banks…
For these seven tiny piggies.
For the animals of our world.
We know we can do this - with you. 🩷
