We actually found this girl at one of the wedding area. She seems so skinny, people told us that it's because she had 13 puppies and that she eat something wrong that's why she is skinny. People just make up to avoid fault of the cares of their animals. Tomorrow when the wedding end at the site, we will go to check on her and wanted to help her.

Some people believe that the dogs that had no tail is a bad luck to their families, they would abandoned the dogs or cats that had no tail or do dog market trading... This morning this cute puppy was one of the student found us and she sent her here for safety from her parents. Today the puppy rescued and got treatment for flee, and thanks Notodogmeat for the meds. Today we named her Lucky Tail

Updated: Our Guenivere had one week and half now after she had Demodex we took her to a vet in siem Reap, she got dectomax injection and daily taking Cephalexin and Polizine. She was terrible infection and couldn't eat but now she is healed from demodex and just need time to regrowth back of her hair. Get 100% soon Guenivere..

This is one of our rescue,Guenivere, she got this infection with very rapidly increasing of the spread. We are not so sure as it very strange signs and rapidly infection eat her up, there us no veterinary here , with the help from FUNDRAISER FOR NOTODOGMEAT / NOTOCATMEAT and a friend in Phnom Penh Tet Lin we are able to take put her in the taxi with 7 cats that need to be spayed and neuter. tomorrow we will travel with 7 cats and Guenivere to siem Reap to the vet hospital. The travel cost so much and the treatment and spay also cost us a lots but we had great responsibilities for all of our rescues dogs and cats. It's been a long time since Vesna help us with his physical hard work with the shelter since last year, he the only person help us without asking any payment. He also helped with now cutting the wood and making the classroom for us. He was adopted by Chantha's family and grew up with him, long story short his whole life never be easy, he had been homeless, abused, leave starving and ended up in the prison in Thailand over 6 years as he went to find a work but no passport, he have been abused, bitten and services in the cell everyday, luckily he delivered and sent back to Cambodia, first Chantha family couldn't recognise him because of the bruise, people tattoo him in the cell, skinny. But he is a kind person, he loves animals especially dogs, when he was small when he saw the family members killed the dog to eat, he's crying, and angry, but he can't do anything to save the dogs that been slaughter in the house. Now two of our dogs we let them him have company, and they love to hunt rats with him in the forest for daily food. These two rescues stay with him now and we support them food. We believe that there are lots of unfair lives with everyone living on earth, no one had an easy life, just if you found peace and love cared , you should be appreciated that you come this far and fight hard for your life and protect those we love, the dogs and cats, just some people haven't found peace and the needs yet in their life, Vesna hopefully he will find what he needs and then enough is enough, he is the most compassion to dogs an cats we ever seen here and very helpful with animals care with us, hope his mental illness and all traumas will leave him so he can do more for the fur with us . He's so happy when we have him the new t shirt, maybe it's the first time he had a new shirt.

Last year our charity started a project in Cambodia with a vision to educate on animal welfare and encourage authorities to put an end to the dog meat trade.As things stand, ' pot and pan' men travel through rural areas exchanging small items for villagers pet dogs or strays. Phom Penh, the capital, also has a high stray dog population.For years, we have been warning of the health risks associated with the dog and cat trade and rabies. Our charity works to close legal loopholes in Asia.
Our lobbying in Cambodia has begun in earnest, and we are encouraged to learn His Excellency Prime Minister Hun Sen has formally requested that the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries to immediately review Cambodia's current law on animal management and slaughter.As we have pointed out, this vile trade violates Cambodia's Law on Animal Health andProduction. They have also confirmed it violates a bye-law (Sub-Decree 108) on the Control of Slaughterhouse and Slaughter in Business and Primary Animal Product Premises.
We will have more news and petitions to follow in the coming days for you to sign and share. Please support our partner project run by Chantha, who is working hard to bring change. The Dog Meat Trad in Cambodia still rising and especially the major happen in the Cambodia capital Phnom Penh. It very sad that this increasingly of the meat trading, many dog thieves and tradings would bring the dogs to the slaughter house and terribly killed them and then sharing with motorbikes and expose on the street with the sign said " special meat" or dog meat for selling. It's terribly horrific and many animals are killed and meat trading, and exposing can affect to people who love animals and children should not see these kind of cruelties. Photo by Huia
