Spend the morning with Tobi ☕️🐱🍊🐈 (Adoption Link in previous post)
Spend a winter morning with Luna ❄️🍦 Our volunteers went on a nice walk with her in the snow and to warm up inside they played some more and gave her her breakfast with an enrichment toy. Luna loves snow days! (Especially when she can stay inside in her warm bed🤪😁)
Koko is doing amazing on her training! Her wonderful foster is setting her up for success for her forever home. Check out our website if you would like to meet her or any of our other dogs that we have available.

Good afternoon everyone! We wanted to drop some knowledge today. Mainly associated to researching your dogs breed prior to adopting! Notice how we said adopting? But you should ADOPT. NOT SHOP!!! Especially in Korea... supporting these pet stores is inhumane and youre only making things worse by giving them your money.
Prior to adopting... get some information about the breed(s)! Especially if they're a mix! Getting a dog "because I've always wanted one" is just irresponsible if you fail to understand what that breed is like. Learn what kind of lifestyle they enjoy to live, what their day to day needs are, and other special quirks that come with them.
For instance, don't get a Husky then expect them to be a dog that just lounges around and is quiet. They're a very active breed, probably one of the most active. They require HOURS of attention, love, and activity. They don't look to you as a master, they see you as an equal. They need regular brushing. They thrive in the cold. They play rough and enjoy it!
These are basic things that are often overlooked and lead to dogs being abandoned or surrendered to shelters. Its not the case all the time, but tends to be most the time.
Find your furrever friend, research what makes them who they are, really think about if they fit your current lifestyle, and press on. Don't adopt a dog just for their status symbol. Adopt them because you believe you can give them the best life and be their companion. Dogs aren't objects. They don't forget that you abandoned them. Their love is pure and unconditional... Do not take advantage of that just so you can say you had a neat looking pet.

Shelter is just full of energy this weekend 🥰
Bjorn is trying his best to go viral by revitalizing our tiktok!
Ahhh Mondays. Everyone's favorite day of the week. Especially rainy mondays!! Well now we have a dilemma. What do we do if we can't let our very high energy pup get his zoomies out? We train! Making your pup think about what they're doing and giving them praise/love for performing said task is sometimes as good as a walk!
Now, it's not a replacement! They still need to get outside and do their thing. But making them think and work for something is a great alternative to a two mile hike in the rain.
Keep your dog physically and mentally active and you'll have a happy, healthy, well behaved pup!

Chloe here! Just wanted to wish everyone a happy Friday
Did you know Dogs LOVE routines and pick up on them quick? Well if you didn't...now you do! Setting up a solid structure for your little friend is incredible for their mental health and helps them really understand what they should be doing and when.
For instance, if you knock out a training session before dinner every day your pup will look forward to learning even more! They'll associate learning with that good stuff you've been giving them.
Or, if you make them sit and focus before they get their harnesses and leashes put on then they'll just start doing it automatically.
Now this isn't all just to benefit your pup. If you feed them everyday at a specific times (which is recommended), they'll even start to remind you the time! They can be your little clocks that require a ton of love!
Hopefully this was insightful to some, here's a video for your time :)
