Care for the Voiceless is a non-profit animal rescue organization whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, place homeless dogs and cats with loving new families and help all kind of animal beings who deserve the equal right to live on earth with peace and harmony same as human beings. Mainly we are focusing of Adoption and Re-homing, Sterilization and Vaccination, Feeding Programmers, Saving th

e Injured, Education and Awareness Programmers and igniting change in the lives of stray dogs and cats throughout the island. We do so without the benefit of paid employees. We have a wonderful network of volunteers of all over in Sri Lanka to help support our efforts. We also provide follow-up support to the individuals and families who adopt a dog or a cat from us. Care for the Voiceless volunteers are always available to provide advice on health and behavioral problems that may arise after an adoption. We are here to help you find the perfect canine companion and to help every stray find a perfect forever home. Our new project is is Saving Cattle and Goats from Slaughtering Houses. In present, even most people abhor eating beef still a large number of cattle are slaughtered daily in the country for consumption and the methods adopted for slaughtering of these animals can largely be considered as inhumane. Considering the poor plight of these animals, Care for the Voiceless has initiated a program to save these poor animals from death by buying cattle from the Slaughtering Houses and donating such saved cattle to farmers who can look after these animals till they inherit a natural death. Generally each cow will cost around Rs.25,000/- to Rs.65,000/- (depending on the weight of the animal) and so far Care for the Voiceless has been in a position to save two cows from certain death with the generous contributions received from well wishers and we are hoping to continue this. We believe that every creature with a will to live has a right to live free from pain and suffering. That is why we are being the Voice for the Voiceless...

Need treatments for better tomorrow. This little pup is in need of treatments for bad DIARRHOEA When Bashi informed us about this little pups condition how can we refuse. So we started treating the pup.for the 1st day transport & treatment cost was Rs. 1500.00 That's not all. This pup need more vet visits to get all better. But all we know is his leg had To be Amputated .But again Due to Some reason his leg Did not get healed..😒😒 So we had to Rush him From Maharagama to Negombo And then to FOUR PAWS Animal Hospital in Kochchikade . This kind Gent has asked in another forum what to do. And one of our Members saw this and brought it to our attention . We did not waste time..we quickly admited Max to Best Care Animal HospitalπŸ₯ Max Lungs were enlarged and he could not breathe proper as he had lot of water in his stomach .This poor Angel is suffering alot. To make it easier for him the veterinarian told they have to pump water out of his stomach every otherday. ******** RIP OUR LITTLE ANGEL************** Little angel we have no words to explain how we feel about this moment.my own hand is shaking trying to gather words to write your sad story. We reacued this little pup 35 days ago from kadawatha garbage spot She was sufering from serviver skin rash and she was serving eating garbage. So she was kept at four paw hospital for 35 days for bording and treatment. So on 2 nd November we took the pup out from the hospital and bought to ragama. So she was safe and sound. However her skin condition was the same as we got her from kadawatha garbage. Angel atlest we gave d love and care plus all good food for you on u r last days. We never knew u will leave us angel suddenly. Every one was in love z u and all we wanted to help you more and get you back to health. We got a bill of 15500rs but now u r gone sweetheart. I am sure u have crossed the rainbow bridge and u r z u r friends in heaven now. We miss you so much and thank you for all members who helped to save you. May u r soul rest in peace angel.

*****another critical case minuwangoada******** Hi guys another horrifying case we got to know from one of our angel was passing by kuranagala minuwangoda road. Apparently she saw this dingo near the pillawaththa kanitu school. Basically minuwangoda katunayaka road. Immediately she notified us. Angel Natasha thank you for your kindness. Disputes we are full caae like this it s impossible to say no... this dingo neds urgent care. So we decided to take it under our hands. Kind truely animal lovers are trying to foster this dingo after vet care.. guys any one pls come forward to give a little space for this dog. We have to bring him back to health. This 4 paw furry friends ned some LIVE Love and care. Try to give a litle space and make a differance in this furry lives u will be blessed. Pls dont forgetbto donate even 10rs to us with out your help we cant run this and care for voiceless. Will kep u posted about the progress cheers
