Sri Lanka Jama’athe Islami Mutur Branch organized its 4th Blood Donation Campaign in collaboration with the Mutur Base Hospital. This initiative received strong support from the local community, with many individuals voluntarily participating to donate blood for the Blood Bank.

இலங்கை ஜமாஅதே இஸ்லாமி மூதூர் கிளை, மூதூர் தளவைத்தியசாலையுடன் இணைந்து 4வது இரத்ததான முகாமை நடத்தியது. இந்த முயற்சிக்கு உள்ளூர் சமூகத்தின் சிறப்பான ஆதரவு கிடைத்தது, பலர் தன்னார்வமாக இரத்த வங்கிக்கு இரத்தத்தை தானமாக வழங்கினர்.

The Sri Lanka Jama’athe Islami Mawanella Branch successfully conducted its 19th Blood Donation Campaign on Sunday, 8th December 2024, in Mawanella.

Medical officers and paramedical staff from the National Blood Transfusion Service Sri Lanka, government officials, and a large number of donors participated in the event. A total of 427 pints of blood were donated during the campaign.

இலங்கை ஜமாஅத்தே இஸ்லாமி மாவனல்லை கிளை தனது 19வது இரத்ததான முகாமை 2024 ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 8ஆம் தேதி ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை மாவனல்லையில் வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்தியது.

இலங்கை தேசிய இரத்த மாற்று சேவையின் மருத்துவ அதிகாரிகள், அரச அதிகாரிகள் மற்றும் பெரும் எண்ணிக்கையிலான கொடையாளர்கள் இந்த முகாமில் பங்கேற்றனர். இதன்போது 427 பைன்ட் இரத்தம் தானமாக வழங்கப்பட்டது.

முஸ்லிம் சமூகம் மனிதர்களுக்கும் நாட்டுக்கும் கூடுதல் பங்களிப்பு செய்ய வேண்டும்

இலங்கை ஜமாஅத்தே இஸ்லாமியின் அநுராதபுர உபபிராந்திய பிரமுகர் அமர்வு 2024.12.01 ஞாயிறு அன்று 'வளமிகு நாடு, முன்மாதிரிமிக்க முஸ்லிம் சமூகம்' என்ற கருப்பொருளில் அநுராதபுர உப பிராந்திய பொறுப்பாளர் அஷ்ஷேக் ஏ.சீ.எம். யாசிர் இஸ்லாஹி தலைமையில் அநுராதபுர நகர சி.டி.சி வரவேற்பு மண்டபத்தில் நடைபெற்றது.

தனக்காக மட்டும் வாழும் ஒரு சமூகம் ஹைர உம்மத்தாக இருக்க முடியாது. ஹைர உம்மத் என்பது மக்களுக்கு நலவுகளை கொடுக்க வந்த சமூகமாகும். முஸ்லிம் சிறுபான்மை சமூகம் எப்போதும் தனது வீதத்தை விட அதிகமாக நாட்டுக்கும் பிரதேசத்துக்கும் பங்களிப்பு செய்ய வேண்டும். நாம் நாட்டில் பத்து வீதமாக இருக்கலாம்; ஆனால் எமது பங்களிப்பு அதைவிட கூடுதலாக இருக்க வேண்டுமென பிரமுகர் அமர்வின் கருப்பொருள் உரையாற்றிய இலங்கை ஜமாஅத்தே இஸ்லாமியின் தலைவர் உஸ்தாத் எம்.எச்.எம் உஸைர் இஸ்லாஹி தெரிவித்தார்.

பொருளாதாரத்தில், கல்வியில், சுகாதாரத்தில் நாங்கள் சொந்தக்காலில் நிற்பதோடு மட்டுமல்லாது, மக்களின் தேவைகளை அறிந்து அவர்களது மேம்பாட்டுக்கு பங்களிக்க கூடிய வகையில் எங்களை நாங்கள் மாற்றிக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்ற விடயத்தையும் வலியுறுத்திச் சொன்னார்.

அநுராதபுர மாவட்டத்தின் கல்வி மேம்பாடு தொடர்பான புள்ளி விபரங்களோடு மாவட்ட கல்வி நிலை தொடர்பான முன்வைப்பொன்றை ஓய்வு நிலை கல்வி நிர்வாக சேவை அதிகாரி அஷ்ஷெய்க் ஏ.ஏ. சமத் (நளீமி) முன்வைத்தார். இக் கலந்துரையாடலை ஜமாஅத்தின் உதவிப் பொதுச் செயலாளர் வை.ஐ.எம். ஹனீஸ் நெறிப்படுத்தினார். மேலும் மாவட்ட கல்வி நிலை தொடர்பாக திட்டமிட்டு செயற்பட இன்னொரு சந்தர்ப்பம் ஏற்படுத்தப்படும் எனவும் தீர்மானிக்கப்பட்டது.

ரம்யா லங்கா நிறுவனமும் அதன் செயற்பாடுகளும் பற்றிய விளக்கமொன்றை அதன் பணிப்பாளர்களில் ஒருவரான எம்.டீ.எம். அலி சப்ரி விளக்கினார்.

இந்நிகழ்வில் அனுராதபுரம் மாவட்ட ஜம்இய்யதுல் உலமா சபை அங்கத்தவர்கள், மாவட்ட பள்ளிவாயில்கள் சம்மேளன உறுப்பினர்கள், நிர்வாக சேவை அதிகாரிகள், அதிபர்கள், ஆசிரியர்கள், வர்த்தகப் பிரமுகர்கள் நலன் விரும்பிகள் என மாவட்டத்தின் நாலாபுறங்களிலிருந்தும் ஆண்களும் பெண்களும் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

Muslim Community Must Contribute More to People and Nation

A Guests' Session of the Sri Lanka Jama'athe Islami Anuradhapura Sub Region was held on Sunday, the first of December, under the theme "Prosperous Nation, Exemplary Muslim Community" at the C.T.C Reception Hall in Anuradhapura.

The session was chaired by the Anuradhapura Sub-Regional organizer , Ash-Sheikh A.C.M. Yasir Islahi.

The President of Sri Lanka Jama'athe Islami, Usthaz M.H.M Ussair Islahi, delivering the Key-note address, emphasized that a community living only for itself cannot be a Khaira Ummah. He explained that Khaira Ummah is a community that comes to provide benefits to people. The Muslim minority community must always contribute to the country and region beyond its proportion.

"We might constitute ten percent of the population, but our contribution should be significantly more," he stated. He further stressed that the community should not only stand on its own feet in economics, education, and healthcare but also understand people's needs and transform themselves to contribute to their development.

A retired educational administrative service officer, Ash-Sheikh A.A. Samad (Naleemi), presented statistics and a proposal regarding educational development in the Anuradhapura district. The discussion was moderated by Assistant General Secretary of Jama'ath, Y.I.M. Haneez It was also decided that another opportunity would be created to plan strategically regarding the district's educational status.

M.T.M. Ali Sabri, one of the Directors of Ramya Lanka organization, provided an explanation about the organization and its activities.

The event was attended by members of the Anuradhapura District Jamiyyathul Ulama, School Development Soceities, administrative service officers, principals, teachers, business leaders, and well-wishers from all corners of the district, including both men and women.

General Election 2024

Sri Lanka Jama'athe Islami congratulates all the winning candidates in the General Election 2024, held on November 14, 2024. The results of this election reflect a clear mandate given to the leaders to build the nation in line with the aspirations of its people.

This election is particularly significant as it marks a shift towards more inclusive and unified politics. The landmark results demonstrate a collective desire to move beyond historical divisions and to strengthen communal harmony and trust. This is a remarkable opportunity to rebuild on a platform that prioritizes unity. While much work remains to be done to foster these values, this pivotal moment must be nurtured to prevent it from becoming another lost opportunity.

We strongly believe that public participation and inclusivity are essential to uphold democratic values in a multicultural country like ours. We also commend the officials of the Department of Elections and the security forces on conducting a free and fair election.

We urge both the incoming government and opposition parties to collaborate in strengthening democracy and the rule of law for the progress and development of our beloved nation, ensuring that the Sri Lankan identity transcends all differences.

கடந்த நவம்பர் 14ஆம் தேதியன்று நடைபெற்ற பொதுத் தேர்தலில் வெற்றிபெற்ற அனைத்து வேட்பாளர்களுக்கும் இலங்கை ஜமாஅத்தே இஸ்லாமி தனது வாழ்த்துக்களை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறது.

இந்தத் தேர்தலின் முடிவுகள், மக்களின் விருப்புகளுக்கு இணங்க நாட்டை கட்டியெழுப்புவதற்கான தெளிவான அங்கீகாரத்தை பிரதிபலிக்கின்றன.

அனைத்துத் தரப்பினரையும் உள்ளடக்கி ஒருங்கிணைக்கும் வகையிலான ஒரு மாற்றத்தைக் குறித்துக் காட்டும் ஒரு நிகழ்வு என்ற வகையில் இத்தேர்தல் முக்கியத்துவம் மிக்கதாகும். இந்த முக்கியத்துவமிக்க தேர்தல் முடிவுகள் வரலாறு கடந்துவந்த பிரிவினைகளை புறந்தள்ளிவிட்டு இனங்களுக்கிடையிலான இணக்கப்பாட்டையும் நம்பிக்கையையும் வலுப்படுத்துவதற்கான அனைத்து மக்களினதும் விருப்பத்தை வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றன. ஓற்றுமைக்கு முன்னுரிமை வழங்குகின்ற ஒரு தளத்தை புனர்நிர்மானம் செய்வதற்கு இது ஒரு சிறந்த வாய்ப்பாகும். இந்த விழுமியங்களை வளர்ப்பதற்கு மேலும் பல வேலைகள் நடைபெறவேண்டியுள்ளன. ஆனாலும் கிடைத்த வாய்ப்பை நழுவவிட்ட மற்றுமொரு கதையாக அமைந்துவிடாமலிருக்க இந்த வாய்ப்பு பயன்படுத்தப்பட வேண்டும்.

பொதுமக்களின் பங்கேற்பும் பல்வேறுதரப்பினரையும் உள்வாங்கும் பண்பும் பன்முகத்தன்மை கொண்ட நமது நாட்டில் ஜனநாயக விழுமியங்கள் நிலைநாட்டப்பட அவசியமானவை என நாம் உறுதியாக நம்புகிறோம். இந்த சுதந்திரமான மற்றும் நடுநிலையான தேர்தலை நடத்தியமைக்கு தேர்தல் திணைக்களத்தின் அதிகாரிகள் மற்றும் பாதுகாப்பு படையினரை நாம் பாராட்டுகிறோம்.

ஜனநாயகம் மற்றும் சட்ட ஆட்சிக்கு வலுவூட்டும் வகையில் புதிய அரசாங்கமும் எதிர்க்கட்சிகளும் எமது நாட்டின் முன்னேற்றத்திற்கும் வளர்ச்சிக்கும் ஒன்றிணைந்து பணியாற்ற வேண்டுமென்று வலியுறுத்துகிறோம். இதன் மூலம் இலங்கையர் என்ற அடையாளம் எல்லா வேறுபாடுகளையும் கடந்து நிற்க முடியும் என நாம் நம்புகிறோம்.

2024 Parliamentary General Election: Public Awareness Program

A program to raise awareness in the Muslim community on the current electoral process and voter responsibilities was held at the auditorium of the Sri Lanka Jama’athe Islami (SLJI) headquarters, on Saturday 2nd November 2024, conducted by Institute for Democratic Reforms and Electoral Studies (IRES).

The event was coordinated by Ramya Lanka and Colombo Region of SLJI.

Key resource persons included Mr. Manjula Gajanayake, Executive Director of IRES, Mr. C. Manimaran, language interpreter for the Sri Lankan Parliament, Attorney at Law Mrs. Sumithra Sirimanne, and media head. of IRES, Mrs. Nishara Anuruddhika.

The General Secretary of SLJI, Attorney at Law, Mr. Faris Saly pointed out that a significant number of voters are unable to cast their votes due to logistical issues, and we must ensure their participation in an important political exercise like the General Election.

Many grassroots leaders and social activists from the Muslim community, both men and women, participated in this program.

தற்போது நடைபெறும் தேர்தல் செயல்முறை மற்றும் வாக்காளர்களின் பொறுப்புகள் குறித்து முஸ்லிம் சமூகத்தில் விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்துவதற்கான நிகழ்ச்சி IRES நிறுனத்தினால் இலங்கை ஜமாஅத்தே இஸ்லாமி தலைமையக பிரதான மண்டபத்தில் கடந்த 2024 நவம்பர் 2ஆம் தேதி சனிக்கிழமை நடைபெற்றது.

நிகழ்ச்சி ரம்ய லங்கா மற்றும் இலங்கை ஜமாஅத்தே இஸ்லாமி கொழும்பு பிராந்தியம் ஆகிய அமைப்புக்களினால் ஒருங்கிணைக்கப்பட்டது.

வளவாளர்களாக IRES நிறுவனத்தின் நிர்வாக இயக்குநர் திரு. மஞ்சுள கஜநாயக்க, இலங்கை நாடாளுமன்ற மொழிபெயர்ப்பாளர் திரு. சி. மணிமாறன், சட்டத்தரணி திருமதி. சுமித்ரா சிரிமண்ணே மற்றும் IRES நிறுவனத்தின் ஊடகத் தலைவர் திருமதி. நிஷாரா அனுருத்திகா ஆகியோர் பங்கேற்றனர்.

இலங்கை ஜமாஅத்தே இஸ்லாமி பொதுச் செயலாளர் சட்டத்தரணி பாரிஸ் சாலி, சில வசதியின்மை காரணமாக பல வாக்காளர்கள் தங்களது வாக்குகளை பதிவு செய்ய முடியாமல் இருப்பதைத் தெளிவுபடுத்தியதுடன், பாராளுமன்றத் தேர்தல் போன்ற ஒரு முக்கிய அரசியல் நடவடிக்கையில் அவர்கள் பங்கேற்பதை நாம் உறுதிசெய்ய வேண்டும் என்றார்.

Training of Trainers Workshop on Alcohol and Drug Prevention

A Workshop on Alcohol and Drug Prevention for Training of Trainers was held on Sunday, 3rd November 2024, at the Sri Lanka Jama’athe Islami Mawanella Branch. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Chamika Jayasinghe, Director of Healthy Lanka Alliance for Development (HLAD). Community leaders, social workers, professionals, and a significant number of ladies actively participated in the full-day workshop, which comprised presentations, group discussions, and interactive activities. The participants highly commended the program for covering several important topics on drug prevention and the need for intervention by responsible citizens.

Participants were awarded Certificates of Participation at the closing ceremony, which was graced by Assistant General Secretary of SLJI Mr. M.S.M. Thamseel, Attorney at Law; SLJI Mawanella Branch Coordinator M. Fahmi; Ramya Lanka Mawanella Branch Coordinator Dr. Akbar Ali; and several other guests.

The workshop was an initiative of Healthy Lanka, Ramya Lanka, and Sri Lanka Jama’athe Islami.

மது மற்றும் போதைப்பொருள் தடுப்பு குறித்த பயிற்றுநர்களுக்கான பயிற்சிச் செயலமர்வு 3 நவம்பர் 2024 ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை, இலங்கை ஜமாஅத்தே இஸ்லாமி மாவனல்லை கிளையில் நடைபெற்றது. ஹெல்தி லங்கா நிறுவனத்தின் பணிப்பாளர் திரு. சமிக ஜயசிங்ஹ நிகழ்ச்சியை நடத்தினார். சமூகத் தலைவர்கள், சமூகப் பணியாளர்கள், தொழில் வல்லுநர்கள் மற்றும் கணிசமான எண்ணிக்கையிலான பெண்கள் இம் முழு நாள் செயலமர்வில் பங்கேற்றனர். இதில் விளக்கக்காட்சி, குழுக் கலந்துரையாடல் அமர்வுகள் என்பனவும் நடைபெற்றன. போதைப்பொருள் தடுப்பு மற்றும் பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்களின் தலையீட்டின் அவசியம் குறித்த பல முக்கிய தலைப்புகளை உள்ளடக்கிய இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை பங்கேற்பாளர்கள் வெகுவாகப் பாராட்டினர்.

நிறைவு நிகழ்வில் பங்கேற்பாளர்களுக்கு பங்கேற்புச் சான்றிதழ்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டன, இலங்கை ஜமாஅத்தே இஸ்லாமி உதவிப் பொதுச் செயலாளர் சட்டத்தரணி எம்.எஸ்.எம். தம்ஸீல், இலங்கை ஜமாஅத்தே இஸ்லாமி மாவனல்லை கிளை இணைப்பாளர் பஹ்மி, ரம்யா லங்கா அமைப்பின் மாவனல்லைக் கிளை பொறுப்பாளர் டாக்டர் அக்பர் அலி மற்றும் பலரும் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

’s Unite to Serve the Nation and Uplift the Society.

Addressing the participants at the Guest Session of the Sri Lanka Jama'athe Islami Trincomalee Region held on Saturday, October 12th, at the Kinniya Central College Auditorium, Ustaz M.H.M. Ussair Islahi, President of Sri Lanka Jama'athe Islami (SLJI), called attendees to join hands with SLJI in serving the nation and striving to uplift the society to its highest potential. He underscored the growing expectations of both the nation and the community and stressed the need for all to rise to the challenge.

Ustaz Ussair Islahi also highlighted the importance of fostering noble values in both personal and community life, recognizing this as essential for sustainable progress.

The event was attended by civil servants, professionals, religious leaders, well-wishers, and members of the Jamaath from the Trincomalee Region.

சனிக்கிழமை, அக்டோபர் 12ஆம் திகதி கிண்ணியா மத்திய கல்லூரி கேட்போர் கூடத்தில் நடைபெற்ற திருகோணமலை பிராந்திய பிரமுகர் அமர்வின் போது, இலங்கை ஜமாஅத்தே இஸ்லாமியின் தலைவர் உஸ்தாத் எம்.எச்.எம். உஸைர் இஸ்லாஹி, கலந்து கொண்டவர்களை ஜமாஅத்துடன் கைகோர்த்து, தேசத்துக்கான சேவையிலும் சமூக மேம்பாட்டுப் பணியிலும் ஒன்றிணையுமாறு அழைப்பு விடுத்தார்.

நாடும் சமுதாயமும் நம்மிடமிருந்து அதிகம் எதிர்பார்க்கின்றன என்பதை அவர் வலியுறுத்தி, நாம் அனைவரும் இந்த சவாலுக்கு முகம் கொடுக்க வேண்டியதன் முக்கியத்துவத்தையும் விளக்கினார்.

தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கையிலும், சமூக வாழ்க்கையிலும் விழுமியங்களை மேம்படுத்துவதன் அவசியத்தை உஸ்தாத் உஸைர் இஸ்லாஹி மேலும் எடுத்துரைத்தார். இது நிலையான முன்னேற்றத்திற்கு மிகவும் முக்கியமானது எனவும் அவர் கூறினார்.

பாராளுமன்றம் கலைக்கப்பட்டு 2024 நவம்பர் மாதம் 14 ஆம் திகதி் பொதுத் தேர்தல் நடைபெறும் என்று வர்த்தமானி மூலம் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அரசியல் கட்சிகள் தமது வேட்பாளர்களை தெரிவு செய்வதில் மும்முரமாக ஈடுபடுவதை காண முடிகிறது.

இந்நிலையில் சட்டவாக்க சபையான பாராளுமன்றத்திற்கு அறிவு மற்றும் ஆற்றல் மிக்க நேர்மையான, மக்கள் நலனை முன்னிறுத்தி செயற்படக்கூடிய வேட்பாளர்களையே களமிறக்க வேண்டும் என அனைத்து அரசியல் கட்சிகளிடமும் சுயேட்சைக் குழுக்களிடமும் கோரிக்கை விடுப்பதாக 2024 செப்டம்பர் 28ஆம் திகதி நடைபெற்ற இலங்கை ஜமாஅத்தே இஸ்லாமியின் மத்திய ஆலோசனை சபைக் கூட்டத்தில் தீர்மானிக்கப்பட்டது.

மேலும், வேட்பாளர்களுக்கு இருக்க வேண்டிய ஆகக் குறைந்த தகுதி பற்றி ஏலவே ஜமாஅத் உள்ளிட்ட சமூக, சமய நிறுவனங்கள் முன்னின்று தயாரித்த ஆவணம், நாட்டில் செயற்படுகின்ற அனைத்து சமூகங்களையும் பிரதிநிதித்துவம் செய்கின்ற சிவில் அமைப்புகள் சார்பாக ஜனாதிபதி உள்ளிட்ட கட்சித் தலைவர்களிடம் கைளிக்க ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ள நிலையில், இம்முயற்சிற்கு ஜமாஅத் பூரண ஆதரவை தொடர்ந்தும் வழங்கும் எனவும் முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டது.

அரசியல் கட்சிகள் மற்றும் சுயேட்சைக் குழுக்கள் களமிறக்கும் வேட்பாளர்களிலிருந்தே வாக்காளர்கள் பாராளுமன்றத்துக்கான தமது பிரதிநிதிகளைத் தெரிவு செய்ய வேண்டி இருப்பதால், மேற்குறிப்பிட்ட வழிகாட்டலுக்கு அமைவாக தகுதி வாய்ந்த, தரமான வேட்பாளர்களை களமிறக்கும் கடப்பாடு அரசியல் கட்சிகளினதும் சுயேட்சைக் குழுக்களினதும் தலைமைத்துவங்களுக்கு இருக்கிறது. சகல அரசியல் கட்சிகளும் சுயேட்சைக் குழுக்களும் இவ்விடயத்தில் பொறுப்புணர்வுடன் நடந்து கொள்ளுமாறு சபை வேண்டிக் கொள்கிறது.

வன்முறைகளற்ற, அரச சொத்துக்கள் துஷ்பிரயோகம் செய்யப்படாத, சுதந்திரமானதும் நீதியானதுமான, பொதுத் தேர்தலை நடாத்துவதற்கு அரசு முழுமையான ஈடுபாட்டுடனான ஒத்துழைப்பை வழங்க வேண்டும் என்பது ஜமாஅத்தின் எதிர்பார்ப்பாகும்.

அத்தோடு எதிர்வரும் பொதுத் தேர்தல் மூலம் சிறந்த பிரதிநிதிகள் பாராளுமன்றத்துக்கு தெரிவு செய்யப்பட வேண்டும் என்பதில் சகல சமூகங்களும் பொறுப்புணர்வுடன் நடந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும் என ஜமாஅத் வேண்டிக் கொள்வதோடு, ஜமாஅத்தின் யாப்பின் பிரகாரம் ஜமாஅத் எந்த அரசியல் கட்சிக்கோ சுயேட்சைக் குழுவுக்கோ சார்பாகவோ, எதிராகவோ செயல்பட மாட்டாது; நாட்டினதும் நாட்டு மக்களின் நலனுக்காக சகல தரப்பினருடன் ஒத்துழைக்க ஜமாஅத் எப்போதும் தயாராக இருக்கும் எனவும் தீர்மானிக்கப்பட்டது.

மேலும், ஜமாஅத் அங்கத்தவர் எவரும் தேர்தலில் வேட்பாளராக களமிறங்க முடியாது; எந்த ஒரு அரசியல் கட்சிக்கும் அல்லது வேட்பாளருக்கும் சார்பாகவோ எதிராகவோ தேர்தல் பிரச்சாரங்களில் ஈடுபட முடியாது; ஆனால், அரசியல் கூட்டங்களில் அவர்கள் கலந்து கொள்ளலாம்; தான் விரும்பிய வேட்பாளர்களுக்கு வாக்களிக்கலாம், என்ற ஜமாஅத்தின் நீண்ட கால நிலைப்பாட்டையும் மத்திய ஆலோசனை சபை மீண்டும் உறுதிப்படுத்தியது.

Resolutions of the Sri Lanka Jama'athe Islami Central Advisory Council Regarding the Upcoming General Election

It has been announced through a gazette notification that the parliament has been dissolved and the general election will be held on November 14, 2024. Political parties can be seen actively engaged in selecting their candidates.

In this context, it was decided at the meeting of the Sri Lanka Jama'athe Islami Central Advisory Council held on September 28, 2024, to request all political parties and independent groups to field only knowledgeable, capable and honest candidates who can act with the people's welfare in mind for the legislature, which is the parliament.

Furthermore, it was decided that Jama'ath would continue to provide full support to the effort, as arrangements have been made to hand over to party leaders, including the President, on behalf of civil organizations representing all communities operating in the country, a document prepared by social and religious organizations, including Jama'ath, regarding the minimum qualifications required for candidates.

Since voters have to select their representatives for parliament from the candidates fielded by political parties and independent groups, the leadership of political parties and independent groups have the obligation to field honest, competent and service minded candidates in accordance with the aforementioned guidelines. The Council requests all political parties and independent groups to act responsibly in this regard.

Jama'ath expects the government to provide full cooperation with complete commitment to conduct a violence-free, fair, and just general election in which state properties are not misused.

In addition, Jama'ath requests that all communities act responsibly to ensure that good representatives are elected to parliament through the upcoming general election, and it was decided that, according to Jama'ath's constitution, Jama'ath will not act for or against any political party or independent group; Jama'ath will always be ready to cooperate with all parties for the benefit of the country and its people.

Moreover, the Central Advisory Council reaffirmed Jama'ath's long-standing position that no Jama'ath member can contest as a candidate in the election; they cannot engage in election campaigns for or against any political party or candidate; however, they can attend political meetings and vote for candidates of their choice.

පාර්ලිමේන්තුව විසුරුවා හැර 2024 නොවැම්බර් මස 14 වන දින මහ මැතිවරණය පැවැත්වෙන බව ගැසට් නිවේදනයක් මගින් දන්වා ඇත. දැනටමත් දේශපාලන පක්ෂ තම අපේක්ෂකයින් තෝරා ගැනීමේ කටයුතුවල නිරත වන බව පෙනේ.

මෙම තත්ත්වය තුළ ව්‍යවස්ථාදායකය වන පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට බුද්ධිමත් හා හැකියාවන්ගෙන් පිරිපුන්, අවංක,හා ජනතා සුභසාධනය ඉදිරියට ගෙන යා හැකි අපේක්ෂකයින් පමණක් ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලෙස සියලු දේශපාලන පක්ෂවලින් හා ස්වාධීන කණ්ඩායම්වලින් ඉල්ලා සිටීමට 2024 සැප්තැම්බර් 28 වන දින පැවති ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජමාඅතේ ඉස්ලාමි මධ්‍යම උපදේශක සභා රැස්වීමේදී තීරණය කරන ලදී.

තවද, අපේක්ෂකයින්ට තිබිය යුතු අවම සුදුසුකම් පිළිබඳව ජමාඅත් ඇතුළු සමාජයීය හා ආගමික සංවිධාන විසින් කලින් සකස් කරන ලද ලේඛනය, රටේ ක්‍රියාත්මක වන සියලු ප්‍රජාවන් නියෝජනය කරන සිවිල් සංවිධාන වෙනුවෙන් ජනාධිපති ඇතුළු පක්ෂ නායකයින්ට භාර දීමට පියවර ගෙන ඇති අතර, මෙම උත්සාහයට ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජමාඅතේ ඉස්ලාමි තව දුරටත් තම සම්පූර්ණ සහාය ලබා දීමටත් තීරණය කරන ලදී.

දේශපාලන පක්ෂ සහ ස්වාධීන කණ්ඩායම් විසින් ඉදිරිපත් කරනු ලබන අපේක්ෂකයින්ගෙන් පමණක් පාර්ලිමේන්තු නියෝජිතයින් තෝරා ගැනීමට ජනතාවට සිදුවන බැවින්, ඉහත සඳහන් මාර්ගෝපදේශයට අනුකූලව සුදුසුකම් ලත්, ගුණාත්මක අපේක්ෂකයින් ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමේ වගකීම දේශපාලන පක්ෂ සහ ස්වාධීන කණ්ඩායම්වල නායකත්වයට තිබිය යුතුය. සියලු දේශපාලන පක්ෂ සහ ස්වාධීන කණ්ඩායම් මෙම කරුණ සම්බන්ධයෙන් වගකීමෙන් කටයුතු කරන ලෙස සභාව අපේක්ෂා කරයි..

தேர்தலில் ஜமாஅத்தே இஸ்லாமியின் நிலைப்பாடு

எதிர்வரும் ஜனாதிபதித் தேர்தல் தொடர்பாக இலங்கை ஜமாஅத்தே இஸ்லாமியின் நிலைப்பாடு குறித்து பலரும் வினவுகின்றனர்.

இலங்கை ஜமாஅத்தே இஸ்லாமி கட்சியரசியலுக்கு அப்பாலிருந்தே செயற்படும் என்பது 1965ம் ஆண்டிலிருந்தே ஜமாஅத்தின் யாப்பில் தெளிவாகக் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டு வரும் விடயமாகும். அந்த வகையில் ஜமாஅத் எந்த அரசியல் கட்சிக்கும் ஆதரவாக செயற்பட்ட வரலாறு இல்லை.

ஜமாஅத் அங்கத்தவர்கள் தாம் விரும்பிய கட்சிக்கு வாக்களிக்கலாம். அரசியல் கட்சிகளின் கூட்டங்களில் கலந்துகொள்ளலாம். ஆனால் எந்த கட்சிக்கோ, தேர்தலில் நிற்கும் அபேட்சகருக்கோ சார்பாக அல்லது எதிராக பிரச்சாரத்தில் ஈடுபடக்கூடாது என்பதே ஜமாஅத் தனது அங்கத்தவர்களுக்கு வழங்கியுள்ள அறிவுறுத்தலாகும்.

நடைபெறப்போகும் ஜனாதிபதித் தேர்தலின் முடிவுகள் நாட்டுக்கும் மக்களுக்கும் நல்லதாக அமைய வேண்டும் என்பதே எமது பிரார்த்தனையாகும்.

Sri Lanka Jama'athe Islami's Position on the Election

Many are inquiring about the stance of Sri Lanka Jama'athe Islami regarding the upcoming presidential election.

It has been clearly stated in Jama'ath's constitution since 1965 that Sri Lanka Jamaathe Islami shall operate beyond party politics. In this regard, Jamaath has no history of supporting any political party.

Jamaath members can vote for the party of their choice. They can participate in meetings of political parties. However, Jamaath's instruction to its members is that they should not engage in campaigning for or against any party or candidate standing in elections.

Our prayer is that the results of the upcoming presidential election should be beneficial for the country and its people.

ජනාධිපතිවරණය පිළිබඳ ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජමාඅතේ ඉස්ලාමි සංවිධානයේ ස්ථාවරය.

එළඹෙන ජනාධිපතිවරණය පිළිබඳ ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජමාඅතේ ඉස්ලාමීයේ ස්ථාවරය කුමක්දැයි බොහෝ අය විමසති.

ජමාඅතේ ඉස්ලාමී සංවිධානය පක්ෂ දේශපාලනයෙන් තොරව ක්‍රියා කරන ආගමික සමාජයීය සංවිධානයක් යනුවෙන් 1965 සිටම එහි ව්‍යවස්ථාවේ සඳහන් වී ඇත. ජමාඅතේ ඉස්ලාමය ඉතිහාසයේ කිසි දිනෙක කිසිම පක්ෂයකට සහයෝගය දක්වා නොමැත .

ජමාඅත් සාමාජිකයින් තමන් කැමති පක්ෂයකට අපේක්ෂකයෙකුට ඡන්දය පාවිච්චි කළ හැකිය. දේශපාලන ප්‍රචාරක රැස්වීම්වලට සහභාගි විය හැකිය. එහෙත් කිසියම් අපේක්ෂකයෙකුට පක්ෂව හෝ විරුද්ධව ප්‍රචාරය කළ නොහැකිය. යනුවෙන් ජමාඅතය තම සාමාජිකයන්ට දන්වා ඇත.

එළඹෙන ජනාධිපතිවරණයේ ප්‍රතිඵලය රටටත් ජනතාවටත් යහපත් ප්‍රතිඵල ගෙන දෙන එකක් වේවායි ප්‍රාර්ථනා කරමු.
