Our horseback trail rides will give you a mounted experience that will take you along scenic trails identified by our professional team of horsemen. Ranch stays here suit the family with kids and others alike. You can experience kayaking in our lake, horsemanship lessons, learn to ride ranch horses, experience our flock of pasture raised chickens, muscovy ducks, turkey, geese and quails. Our stables are designed for sustainability and equine comfort and the same applies to our kennels at VONFIDEL K9, our sister operation. You can enjoy organic produce within our permaculture ranch and we also offer badminton and other games for kids. We offer introduction to the horse and riding experience for those who aspire to step into the world of horses. Our barbecues are special, after all there is no ranch without the barbecue experience! We also take our coffee seriously! We take the environment to heart and practice eco-friendly approach to farming and tourism. The areas offers much in terms of unexploited tourist attractions and it will be our pleasure to put together a memorable experience for you!

Von Fidel Ranch offers a quintessential dose of the Punanai and Baron's Rock (Thippigala/Kudumbimalai) outback, a hop away from the Pasikuda beach in Eastern Sri Lanka. Our ranch style accommodations offer deep relaxation in a permaculture forest with just a 15-minute ride to the Pasikuda Beach! The increasing number of birds that seek refuge here, the resident wildlife, neighborhood elephants are all part of the ecotourism oasis we have carved to offer an experience we came after in the first place!

As Sri Lanka’s first dude ranch we offer an introductory dose of this unique experience that has gained immense popularity in the United States. A healthy indulgence into farm chores, sooth your mind feeding our free range geese, turkey, hens and Muscovy ducks area all geared to give you a healthy and fulfilling vacation.

Our treks are organized to navigate this ruggedly beautiful terrain that is roaming ground to the famous Punani elephant herd amongst other wildlife that is little known outside. We have treks ranging from 40 minutes to two days to suit your level of adventure! Our soon to be horse trail rides will take you mounted on our beloved and aptly trained trail riding horses truly reminiscent of the Florida trail rides that inspired us!
