*Shall we celebrate this festive season peacefully without deafening noises?* 🎇❌

As we get ready to embrace the joy of the year, let's remember to light up our hearts as well as our surroundings! Let's make kindness a priority this New Year🤍✨

While fireworks may seem fun, they can deeply harm our beloved animal friends 🫨🐾

*Every year, there are reports of lost, injured, or frightened pets and wildlife and even deaths due to the loud noises.* 😿

So, let's ring in the New Year with compassion for all creatures, big and small. Let's make sure our celebrations spread joy, not fear.. 🐶🐱🐦

May you all have a happy New Year filled with love and kindness to all beings! Let's celebrate responsibly! ☀️

International Rabies Day, observed on September 28th, is a day to raise awareness about the deadly threat of rabies to humans and animals worldwide🐾🌎

Rabies is a preventable viral disease that claims many lives, especially in areas with limited access to healthcare. Vaccination is the key to prevention, protecting pets, strays, and wildlife, as well as communities 💉🐕

This day encourages us to promote rabies vaccination and responsible pet ownership, supporting efforts to eradicate the disease. By working together, we can save lives and make rabies history✨️

" Are you really wondering about the world of fish?"🧐🧐

Understand their language more !!🤩

Here are 6 facts for you!🐠🐠🐠

Stay tuned!!!

*Do you know ?*
Fish can recognize their owner's face, even if the owner is standing by the tank with other people. But how? Fish can develop an association between something they like. So you can also be a special one to the fish by feeding them🌝.
Fish are playful pets as same as dogs and cats. They like to chase each other for fun and hide behind the aquatic plants. Sometimes , they glide through the water peacefully and play with aquarium toys. Toys make your fish super happy and excited.

*What is the Best Thing to Put in your Tank for Fish to Play?*

Floating log, leaf hammock, moss balls, and aquatic plants are some of the best things for fish to play.
So, if your pet fish are feeling lethargic and slow, keeping toys readily stimulates them.

*But how do you know that your pet fish is happy ?*

🐠 *_6 Signs of Happy, Healthy Fish_* 🐠
1. Actively swim throughout the tank. Not just hanging out or laying at the bottom, floating near the top or hiding behind the plants and ornaments .
2. Eat regularly and swim to the surface quickly at feeding time.
3. Do not have white spots or blemishes on their body. Do not have fins that are torn or ragged .
4. Expand the gills regularly ,but not rapidly.
5. Brightly colored with vibrant scales.
6. Swim in clean, clear, odorless water.

Hope these magic tips 🪄 will help you for sure🌚♥️

30/04/2022

The theme for the "World Veterinary Day 2022" will be strengthening veterinary resilience. This essentially means providing veterinary doctors with all kinds of help, resources they require in their journey. It will also reward the efforts made by veterinarians and veterinary associations. In 2021, the World Veterinary Day theme was “veterinarian response to the COVID-19 crisis."

World Veterinary Day is observed last Saturday of April. This year, it falls on April 30. The day aims to spread awareness about animal health care and the steps one should undertake to curb animal cruelty. The day also teaches to be a responsible pet owner, being well informed about various aspects related to pet care.

Did you ever think what would happen if animals become humans ?🤔

Will they make a completely different society?👀

Here are some facts for you 🥰

So think about it 🌚♥️

Here are some amazing facts about animal psychology!

These facts will make you rethink what makes us human…

Animals clearly have a complex internal life, it’s just that we don’t fully understand it yet. And if you need any further proof, or want to convince your doubtful friends, these amazing facts will be an eye-opener for you to show just how intelligent and human-like animals can be…….

Cows have best friends...

The fact that friendship is a completely unique human experience is not true at all. Cows have been shown in studies to have “best friends”, even showing signs of distress when they get separated from them.

Many animals can use tools…
We believe that the ability to think creatively and engineer solutions by using raw materials is a unique capability of humans. However, this is something that animals can do too. Whilst primates use sticks to fish ants out of trees and to club snakes (chimpanzees even make spears!), many other animals have also found useful uses for the things in their environment. Some birds for instance use traffic in order to crack open nuts, while elephants have been known to short out electric fences by dropping branches on them. Dolphins have been spotted using sponges to stir up sand on the ocean floor when looking for prey, Gorillas have used branches as walking sticks and to test water depth, octopuses use coconut shells to make armour and deguses (rodents similar to chinchillas) can use little rakes to bring food closer to their cage. Some chimps even have toys – treating sticks like ‘babies’ in the same way children use dolls. And what do you call a nest if not a bed made out of sticks? Don’t feel so special now do you?

Chimpanzees believe in God…

Okay not quite, but chimpanzees have been seen displaying behaviors that are thought to be ‘quasi-religious’. When faced with fires, waterfalls or storms – chimpanzees (who are our closest relatives) have been seen to react with rituals and even to perform a particular ‘rain dance’. This could be the early signs of the same kind of ‘worship’ that ultimately lead to the kinds of religions we have today.

Chimps can light fire…

Not impressed enough by chimpanzees? How about this – when in captivity they can actually be taught to control fire using matches and other similar tools. And we know what that discovery ultimately leads to for humans.

Alex the amazing parrot…

Alex was not only able to mimic words, but also use them in the correct context: identifying foods, shapes and even materials. More impressive still, he could use this ability to make requests for things he wanted. That’s not just mimicking – that’s talking! Now imagine if you gave a chimpanzee a greater vocal range: what could they accomplish then?

Rats laugh…
It is more unusual to think that animals can laugh in the same sense as we can. Actually, that’s true, and rats will laugh when tickled under their bellies.

Some animals can commit su***de…

Both elephants and dolphins are known to be capable of committing su***de. When in harsh conditions an elephant will step on its own trunk in order to suffocate itself. Think about the implications for the intelligence of those animals: it means that they not only have a sense of ‘future’, but also a grasp of their own anatomy and their mortality.

Do your happiness depends on your Goldie's health? 🐟 🐟 🐟 🐟 🐟 🐟 🐟 🐟

This is solely for you👇
READ and be AWARE about the diseases your fish can get, their symptoms and treatments✨

COMMON FISH DISEASES

1. Anchor Worms

Anchor worms are crustaceans that can be introduced into the fish tanks by an infected fish. They burrow into the fish's skin & enter the muscle. Then they grow & release eggs before they die. Pond fish are commonly infected.
Symptoms:
• Infected fish is rubbing its body against things in the fish tank.
• Whitish green threads like appearance in fish's skin.
Treatment:
• Common methods are physically removing & applying topical antibiotic ointment to their scale.
• Clean the whole tank to get rid of any eggs, larvae or parasites.

2. Fungus

Fish can get fungal infections due to unclean water conditions & dead , decaying organic material in the fish tank. There are two common fungal infections as ,
Sprolegnia &
Ichthyophonus hoferi
These can cause damage to internal organs.
Symptoms:
Grey, cotton like growths on skin, gills, fins & around eyes.
Treatment:
• Clean the fish tank & put Potassium permanganate to the water. It will reduce the nitrogen content in the water. Make sure that you have removed all the external pathogens from the fish's skin.
• Increase the water temperature to 82 degrees as most of these fungal infections thrive in cold temperatures.

Haemorrhagic septicaemia

This disease is caused by the infection of the deadly virus called Haemorrhagic Septicaemia Virus.Bleeding in the internal organs, muscles, skin can be observed in the affected fish.
Symptoms:
• pale gills
• dark colored body
• fluid accumulation in the body (bloated abdomen)
• bulging eyes
Treatment:
No effective cure for this.Treating secondary infections with antibiotics or general use treatments will reduce mortality.

What are the basic needs of a pet?
You can meet a pet's basic welfare needs by giving it food, water, ventilation, and by protecting it from injury or ill health. However, taking care of your pet also includes meeting a pet's emotional needs. Keeping Pets Healthy Keeps People Healthy Too

_Here are the Top 6 Tips to keep your pet healthy_

1. Keep your pet at a healthy weight

Exercising is a basic need for every domestic pet. So, take them for a walk every day for at least half an hour or you can play with them as well. Giving your pet ample exercise helps maintain a healthy weight which keeps your pet healthy and active.

2. Feed your pet a balanced, nutritious diet

Nutrition is essential for both humans and animals. So, you have to consider your pets' diets as well as yours. Always feed your pet good and high-quality foods. You can either use store-picked pet foods or homemade foods. But proper nutrition and a balanced diet are must when maintaining a healthy pet

3. Provide them with the needed vaccines on time

Vaccinate your pet against potentially deadly diseases such as Parvo and Rabies. It ensures the safety of both pets and humans, thus controlling the possibility of zoonotic diseases which can spread to humans through animals.

4. Visit the Vet on a regular basis

Does your veterinarian examine your pet at least once a year to make sure your pet is healthy and to help detect problems earlier? Pets need medical attention as well as humans. So, reserve a date in your yearly plan to take your pet for an annual check-up.

5. Keep a clean and hygienic environment for them

Parasites can cause so many health problems to your pet and you as well. Provide them with a good and comfortable shelter and keep them away from dust and allergies which help prevent parasite attacks and make your pet healthier and happier too.

6. Engage with them and do not leave them alone for a long time

Your pet is more sensitive than anyone else. They also need love, affection as we do. Love them unconditionally, treat them like your family, talk to them and don’t let them feel lonely and be with them when you can.

_These are the Top Easy Tips to maintain a healthy & Happy pet._
