Baybees’ Riding School was originally started by British expat Anna Skippon. Anna is a keen horsewoman who has been riding all her life and has represented England twice in her youth. Anna completed a degree in Psychology in 2009, specialising in child psychology and going on to have a successful career working with the Youth Justice system in the UK. When Anna moved to Luxembourg, with her came her home bred American Quarter Horse ‘Baybee’, and soon after, the riding school was created.
Originally Anna started with renting ponies and teaching only at weekends whilst she continued to work full time at a multi-lingual creche. The business quickly grew and due to huge demand Anna decided to take on the challenge of running the riding school full time.
In the years we have been in business, we have formed a fantastic client base which has continued to grow and flourish. Happily, we are now in a wonderful new stable, in a fantastic location with potential for us to continue to grow.
We now offer a range of unique and specialised services designed to suite everyone and anyone who wants to learn to ride, however, we offer more than just ‘riding lessons’. Children (and adults) are encouraged to interact with and form a bond with their horse or pony during their sessions.
