Make pelleted food the basis of the diet (75-80%). Offer fresh fruits and vegetables every day, limiting their consumption to no more than 20-40% of the diet. Fruits should be no more than 10% of the daily diet. Never switch a bird's diet 'cold-turkey'. Clean all food and water dishes daily with soap and hot water.☺️☺️🤗🤗

You obviously haven't done any research if you don't know what kind of parrot you want or how much they cost.

Birds like parrots are very observant and intelligent. They have very specific needs, including a great deal of cerebral stimulation and focus. They aren't fashion accessories, living sculptures, or things you should own purely for bragging rights. If mistreated, they might scream so loudly that your landlord kicks you out or bite you so hard that you break bones or require stitches.

Before getting a pet parrot, you should donate at least 50 hours of your time to a parrot rescue or sanctuary. You'll have a good idea of what parrots are like, what they need, and how to take care of them after reading this.
