2024. We had really awesome year.
I met so many new amazing people, and some people walked out of my life - I’m grateful for both because we only need the best people around us. I saw some people from the other side - not everyone who is a friend in your eye is truly your friend.
This year gave me more confidence - for work, life and things that I want [or don’t] in my life. I have admitted things that I can’t change and took so much easier situations that happened.
We have had also bad times for sure but should we keep that mess in our mind?! I let it go and.. let’s keep the good memories.
There is a lot to remember about 2024.
Thank you everyone who supported us, who wished us luck, who liked our pictures/videos, followed and didn’t get jealous, for visits, for being in our life, for helping hand when needed, for being just our friends. Thank you! 🙏

But now… it’s time to say goodbye to 2024 and welcome the New Year..

Come on… 2025 … we have so much in plans for 2025 but this will be an other story.

Continuing to conclude the year…
[Part 2]
This was definitely bright year from many aspects.
As many know, dog shows play a big role in our life. What I love about it? The trips… from preparing all the things to driving many thousands of km and getting tired as hell 🙃 meeting other dog owners and if we get some great results - even better. 🤩 There is something unique about all this and I believe that only those who are truly in this “dog world” can understand this.
🎯This year we managed to achieve practically all the goals we set out to achieve.
🌎 We attended in 21 dog shows in 7 countries: Latvia 🇱🇻 , Czech Republic 🇨🇿 , Romania 🇷🇴 , Hungary 🇭🇺 , Slovenia 🇸🇮 , Austria 🇦🇹 and Slovakia 🇸🇰 . We brought home 7 Champion titles, 2 Grand Champion titles, 🇪🇺European Minor Puppy Winner, and one CIB, as also several BISS and group placements.
🌍 We spent so many hours driving more than 17300km to all the places in Europe for dog shows. Doesn’t it sound crazy?
We spent a lot of time also in hotels in new places. And then - coming back home everyone was so tired.. but relation between me and my dogs got so much stronger.
⭐️Thanks to all 21 judges for appreciating my dogs, pointing out mostly the good things, and few times also not so good 🙃
💜Thanks to all my travel partners and helping hand in the rings during all these trips - Aiga Leimonte , Liga Melkerte and my special friend Marija Kleinberga

🎈And a massive thanks to Vineta Onckule for always being here when needed and my husband for helping out with the dogs who stayed at home while I was away. Thank you, thank you..

I think we need to start concluding the year…
[Part 1]
This was definitely bright year with many ups and some downs too.
This was a puppy year in our kennel - had 2 litters of puppies one by one and had so busy time for 7-8 months.
Despite we lost one beautiful puppy during the birth 🕊️[I called him Collin’s Two worlds] we have 10 beautiful and energetic puppies who have found their people to call them own across the world 🌎 some stayed in Latvia 🇱🇻, 2 puppies traveled to USA 🇺🇸, some are living in Estonia 🇪🇪, one puppy lives in Spain 🇪🇸 and the other in Ireland 🇮🇪.
I love seeing how much owners are working with their dogs and showing great results in building their relationships so strong. Some needs to put more effort on working with their dogs but I think they are on the right track…
There was a plan to add a puppy to our family this year but it turned out - to keep one of my own breeding, which I absolutely adore.
All our dogs live with us as part of our family - indoors, sleeping on couch (or sometimes in the bed with us), we see them 95% of their time (5% when we are out for work). Our puppies have been raised with full attention, prepared for their life with new owners according the age (but the raising continues with new owners according to their knowledge and efforts).
⭐️I wish even more patients, love and care to all puppy owners, work hard now and you won’t regret anything later. I believe, sometimes it’s not easy to be an owner of a cattle dog but you will have (and you already have) the best friend (just help him to show his best).

December 19th to 21st, 2024 all 4 our dogs participated in dog shows in Nitra, Slovakia 🇸🇮
It was long way again - this time about 2700km.
This was really not the best time for showing Nia and Sono as both girls are getting out of coat and are in bad conditions at the moment.. but the results are great.

Judges in breed ring: Belkis Ozan (Turkey),
Krinke Milan (Czech Republic) and Zamoyski Andrzej (Poland).

Bradley needed only 1 CAC to close the champion title, Nia needed 2 CAC's for champion, but Sono needed at least one to open the title. Blue Birdy came just to practice.

🏵️ On Day 1 Bradley and Nia and Day 2 Bradley and Sono participated also at Brace competition.

🏵️ Bradley participated also in Junior Handler competition with 15 years old Marija - this was the very first experience for her in JH and they did very well! Bradley was too tired for all shows and didn't have energy to help Marija in the ring but I believe they had a great time and experience together.

We definitely had a great time and achieved everything we came after.

💜 Many, many thanks to my dear friend Marija for all the help in and out of ring, during the trip, for long talks and everything else - it's hard to count all the good things that you have brought in my life 💜

December 6th to 8th, 2024 Bradley and Sono participated in dog shows in Wels, Austria 🇦🇹
It was a long way - our trip had more than 3400km.

🏵️ On Day 1 we participated also in Brace competition and we were selected in TOP 6 out of 18 beautiful couples.

🏵️ Bradley participated also in Junior Handler competition with 13 years old Gerda Sofija Zepa on Saturday and Sunday and they got the 1st place in the older Junior Handler group and later also 1st place BEST IN SHOW HANDLER both days.
It is so beautiful to see how amazing Bradley is working with so young girl. With serious and powerful breed which actually is forbidden in Latvia for JH.

December 1st, 2024 we visited Liepāja and attended the LIEPAJA DOG SHOW .
This was the very first dog show for BUZZING BEE (son of Bradley x Sono). He just turned 6 months old. He looks amazing!
He has never been in such a place before with so many dogs, people.. and he did very well.
Just before the ring suddenly he started to search his owner (that's what happen to new dogs time to time) and he couldn't show his beautiful movement and excellent tail carriage.
He got super nice critique and VERY PROMISING, PP. I believe he will be a very competitive show dog in the future.
Sono also joined us to make a company and encourage her son. Sono got BEST OF BREED.
