C’est avec une très grande tristesse que nous avons appris la disparition de notre grand ami et éternel promoteur du polo, Patrick Guerrand-Hermès, ancien Président de la Fédération Internationale de Polo. Président d’honneur de la Fédération Française de Polo et de la Fédération Royale Marocaine de Polo.

Le polo ne serait pas ce qu’il est aujourd’hui sans les rêves, l’énergie et la très grande générosité de Patrick, qui l’a fait rayonner à travers le monde.

Patrick aimait nous rappeler que le polo, c’est le partage : on ne garde pas la b***e, on la passe. Et c’est ce qu’il a fait toute sa vie en partageant sa vision, son audace et son ambition avec nous tous.

Patrick a contribué à faire vivre l’âme du polo, celle du fair-play, du dépassement de soi, du respect de l’Homme et du Cheval, ainsi que de l’esprit d’équipe chaleureux et familial.

Nous adressons nos plus chaleureuses condoléances à sa femme Martine, à son fils Olaf, à ses petits-enfants, ainsi qu’à sa famille et à ses proches.
