and thats a wrap on our second spay/neuter clinic of 2025!

Dr. Ziegler and Callie hit the ground running to give our community 4 full days of surgery and consultations. In total, we completed 71 spay/neuters, 4 special surgeries, and +50 consultations. WOO HOO!

And the best part? Spay/neuter was FREE thanks to , who not only sent the team here but also covered surgery costs.

We couldn’t be more grateful for their help ❤️
Can’t wait to share more exciting news with you. But for now, we need a break - so we are CLOSED for a long weekend. See you Tuesday!

Can you believe it's only February, and we are already onto our second spay/neuter clinic of the year? 🤯

And can sometimes worsen into skin infections.

But don't worry.. it is EASY TO FIX!

Keeping your dog on flea/tick preventive can help most mange, along with itchy fleas and dangerous ticks 🎉

So if your dog develops hair loss, please don't abandon or surrender them. Just stop by, and we can help. We always have flea/tick meds in stock.

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Karin Ziegler and Licensed Veterinary Technician Callie Brown from Banfield Foundation to Saipan Humane Society for a spay/neuter clinic from February 17-20!

🎉🎊 Saipan Humane Society Turns 2! 🎊🎉

Two years ago, we started with a dream—to bring access to veterinary care to an island with no veterinarian. Ruby and Lauren worked tirelessly for months to make this dream become a reality, and the team slowly grew into Saipan Humane Society as we know it.

Today, we’re celebrating two years of impact thanks to our hardworking team, incredible community, and Banfield Foundation 🧡

📊 By the numbers:
🐾 10,403 patients helped
✂️ 1,214 spay/neuters performed
🦟 4,787 flea & tick doses provided
💉 2,916 vaccines administered

With just 5 dedicated staff members, a rotating team of interns, and incredible partnerships with Saipan Mayor's Office Dog Control Program and CNMI Department of Lands & Natural Resources Animal Health, we’ve been able to provide lifesaving care to animals across Saipan.

As your friendly neighborhood pet clinic, we see all sorts of sick pets.. but what breaks our hearts most is the sick mom dogs 😩❤️ and puppies suffering from irresponsible breeding.

Did you know that breeding your dog can cause seizures? Unspayed females can get deadly uterus infections? Babies can get stuck and the mom can die?

We know - we've seen both of these things many times 😭

Not to mention the issues we see from in**ed dogs 🥺
And the deadly uterine

Responsible and ethical pet breeding involves ensuring your pet is healthy from the start, and ensuring adequate resources are in place to care for them if something goes wrong..

For example, if you are breeding exotic bullies or frenchies, you better have a scheduled C-section (which is not available on island)!

Not to mention the puppies will need care and should be properly dewormed, vaccinated, etc. We have seen so many very sick puppies, freshly purchased from breeders. It is heartbreaking, and many don't survive.

We already have so many dogs here. Instead of risking your pet's life breeding, why not adopt a dog in need? ❤️🙏
