Jack’s Journey: A Life Full of Love

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of a little strong soldier who we were lucky enough to meet only a few months ago. Jack was not just a pet; he was a resilient and loving companion who faced life's challenges with incredible strength.

At a very young age Jack had already suffered with a broken jaw. We managed to perform a surgery on his jaw this year, when we first met him.
A part of the bone was removed and the damaged area was cleaned up as much as possible.

In recent years Jack also struggled with arthritis, but luckily with a combination of monthly treatments as well as laser therapy we were able to make a positive difference in his comfort and quality of life.

Even though this poor little guy had to go through such hard times in his life we did our utmost to extend his time for as long as possible, seeing that he was still happy, healthy and comfortable.

After all the time spent trying to help Jack, his courageous owners eventually had to make the difficult decision to let him go at the remarkable age of 14, giving him peace as he crossed the rainbow bridge 😇.

Every day we work with our patients, we believe we are making a difference, we believe that we understand them, through their demeanor, through their symptoms, through their history, and we treat them with the best of care with absolute love.
I was amazed when I saw this. We can look forward to understanding them with sound too - even communicate with them! Wouldn’t it be just perfect ! I’ve had mixed feelings about Artificial Inteligence. Having seen this I’m excited about what the future holds. KG

What if we could hear nature's ultrasonic communication -- and talk back? From a bat's shrill speech to a peacock's infrasound mating call, conservation technology researcher Karen Bakker takes us through a sound bath of animal noises that are far outside humanity's range of hearing, demonstrating h...
