Association for Abandoned Animals AAA Malta is a voluntary registered non governmental organisation that hosts abandoned dogs. The address is:

For volunteering we are open every day from 7.00 to 14.00 including Saturday and Sunday. Please inform us a day before you will be coming and you will always be very welcome to come. We do all the general work required, like cleaning, laying out of new bedding, giving medicines prescribed, take them to the vet, do rescues of new ones from the streets, and if we have some extra time we give them so

me much needed care and affection. Unfortunately due to licensing restrictions we are only allowed to accept volunteers of 16 years and over. Any one younger that this age cannot volunteer even if accompanied by guardians. Directions:

Today, sweet Lucy left our sanctuary chipped and neutered with her forever papa. This kind gentleman looked after her while she was running the streets and she trusted him to seek refuge in his garden.
We helped with her neutering and after care.
Now Lucy is more confident and will never be abandoned again 😊

Handsome Mikiel has left to his new family today!💙🩵
His cherry eye surgery was a success and fully healed.
The fur still needs to grow but the mite infection is now gone👍🏻🩵
Goodbye, beautiful Mikiel, now your future begins.

He is a lovely boy, an elderly one as well, just needs care, and tomorrow, he is scheduled for his blood tests.

Cynthia has now been dewormed and deflead to remove her many parasites but other than that she is very healthy and lovely.

In AAA Sanctuary we have approximately 80 dogs, all abandoned and most from them from the streets. All our dogs are for adoption. For adoptions we are open every Saturday and Sunday from 9.00 to 14.00.

For volunteering we are open every day from 7.00 to 14.00 including Saturday and Sunday. Please inform us a day before you will be coming and you will always be very welcome to come. We do all the general work required, like cleaning, laying out of new bedding, giving medicines prescribed, take them to the vet, do rescues of new ones from the streets and if we have some extra time we give them some much needed care and affection. Please note that this should not be a one time activity as the first two times consist of just training from our part.
