2 days into fostering this cutey - 'Angelo', and I'm already a smitten-kitten 😍 He is a total cuddle-bug, purr-machine, very playful, and loves nuzzling his face on mine 🥰
Angelo was rescued by Animal Welfare Gozo about a week ago. He was stuck alone in a rubble wall, with no sign of his mum or siblings. He's about 5-6 weeks old, eating solid food and using his litter tray independently.
I'll be fostering him for 3 weeks, then he'll go back to his first foster Mummy Amy Victoria Stuart-Hill, who already had a holiday booked before Angelo was rescued.
He will be available for adoption in a few weeks time.

Just a reminder with spring here and Easter near, many of these plants are given as gifts and should NEVER be where a cat can get near them.

I'm gutted that this gorgeous boy got returned to the shelter just 2.5 days after getting adopted, because the landlord won't allow cats 😢
What makes it even worse is that Otis had settled right into his new home from day one; gently eating treats out of the hands of the 2 year old that lives there with her parents; snuggling up on his adopters and sleeping with them at night 😭
Associations like Animal Welfare Gozo have their job made even harder by landlords who won't accept pets, and adopters who don't bother getting permission for pets from their landlord.

Sadly this sweet girl has been at Animal Welfare Gozo for far too long after her elderly owner died.

It was an absolute pleasure to look after these 4 sweet girls again. I'm going to miss waking up to them snuggled around me in bed, chilling out with them on the swing-chair during the day, and cuddling on my lap at night.

Indoor cats need extra stimulation and play-time to stop them getting bored, frustrated and fat. Getting them to run for their treats gives their mind, body and senses a fun workout 😊

Still enjoys her morning walks, meal-times, and cuddles on the bed (but has to be given a helping hand onto it now). Also loves the massages I give her, long naps, early nights and long-lie-ins ❤️

More cuteness from Bentley - he was so happy after a little game of 'run for your treats', that he then picked up his squeaky toy and wanted me to throw it for him to 'hunt' for the next 15 minutes 😅

Great to see him coming out of his shell from day 2 of our time together to initiate play and cuddles. He also chose to sleep in bed with me from the 2nd night 😍

Looking forward to seeing him again for a few hours on Friday, and a few more days of overnight sitting at the end of the month 🥰

Bentley's a sweet old boy, who's a bit on the lazy side, but highly motivated by food (a good description of me too!) 🥰
He's been moping a bit since his parents went away, so after discovering that he likes edamame beans (and that they're a safe snack for dogs), I made him work for a few of them 😄
He loved the game, and even started playing with his toys after (which I'd had no luck in getting him to do in the last 24 hours) 😍

Here's a little video of' Bentley, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, enjoying the treat I gave him to distract and calm him when his owners had just gone out.

Bentley suffers from separation anxiety, so he needs to stay in his home, rather than at kennels/a pet-sitters home when his owners are away. This minimizes his anxiety, and gives him plenty of one-on-one attention.

His owners will be away for a few days soon, and they don't want him to get distressed, so we did a trial-run of me looking after Bentley for a few hours, while they were out. He did really well, with no visible signs of anxiety, so now his owners can go away for a few days, confident that Bentley will be okay 😍

Lilly Loo absolutely lives for her food, she barks and dances every time it's served 😅❤️
After she's eaten she always asks to go out to p*e, because that's what she's been trained to do 😍
A few cuddles together next, then she's back off to bed for a long nanny-nap until the next meal time 😅

At 14 years old, deaf, mostly blind, with arthritis, and separation anxiety, she needs extra TLC; meds with her special food, and plenty of short walks because of her weak bladder.
Staying in her home while her owners are away, and keeping her daily routine exactly the same, ensures that this little cutey doesn't stress ❤️
