✨ Zappi’s Journey... A Story of Hope ✨
Yes, this story is a bit long to read but it’s worth it 🙂
Zappi is an 8 year old cat whose life changed suddenly when his paw mamma was tragically murdered. Following this heartbreaking event, he and her other cats were taken in by a family member who did everything possible to care for them. As circumstances became difficult, help was sought to find new homes for the cats.
In just one year, Zappi moved four times. First, he left his paw mamma’s home to live with the family member. Then he was adopted by a loving person, his third home but sadly it didn’t work out, as he struggled to settle in. Finally, he was welcomed into another kind home as the only cat. From the very first moments, the bond was instant and undeniable 🥹 This fourth home is now Zappi’s forever home, a place where he can finally feel safe, cherished and completely at ease.
Being older and missing a paw didn’t slow him down but it made finding a forever home harder, as some people overlooked him because of his difference. Still, his post was shared widely, in the hope that the right person would see his worth.
After a year of uncertainty and moving, Zappi finally found the home he was meant for, a home full of love, attention and happiness.
We share Zappi’s story with the full consent of the people involved, not to sensationalise but because it carries a message of hope. It shows the importance of cooperation, compassion and patience in rehoming and reminds us that we do not choose cats… cats choose us!

And to anyone considering adoption: please don’t overlook adult cats or cats with differences. They have so much love to give and sometimes their stories become the most meaningful of all ❤️
