As we bid farewell to Dr.Sonia, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude for her time and dedication during her tenure at MyPet Veterinary Practice. Her commitment , passion and dedication to providing quality care to our patients was truly commendable, and she will be missed.

We would like to clarify theat Dr.Sonia is no longer affiliated with MyPet and not involved with our operations moving forward.

At MyPet, we are committed to providing the best level of service to our clients. We understand the importance of continuity and support, and we are actively working to find a suitable veterinarian to ensure there is no disruption to our quality of service.

Friday 30th Normal opening hours by appointment.

Arrhythmias are a common finding in dogs with MMVD and Holter monitoring is a reliable tool for both HR monitoring and diagnosis.

Our clinic is happy to introduce to you our new heart diagnostic test to give the best care to your pet ❤️

The HOLTER machine

In a nutshell, the HOLTER machine is:

A 24-hour (or more) ElectroCardioGram (more known to many as an ECG) recording that is carried out while the animal is "wearing" a recorder. This allows the cardiologist to analyze the rhythm and rate of the heart throughout the day and night of the pet, whether it's a cat, a dog or a horse, with activities documented in a diary by the owner.

It is a very important diagnostic tool especially for certain breeds like Boxers and Doberman pinschers that might have occult DCM with no clinic signs and symptoms.

In other breeds with arrhythmia finding during routine vet visits, those being treated with antiarrhythmic drugs, pets with unexplained fainting or those with heart conditions that could increase the risk of arrhythmias, HOLTER monitor could be a very important tool.

Dear customers while all the staff from MyPet Veterinary Services is wishing you and your family a happy Easter 🐰 we would like you take note that the clinic will be closedon:

We will be open again on Monday 1st April by appointment.

🚫Remember chocolate is toxic for our pet...so put Easter baskets and candy on high shelves, away from the reach of a curious dog or cat.
