1️⃣ Recognising Stress in Your Dog

Stress is a normal reaction, but when it becomes frequent or severe, it can lead to anxiety or behavioural problems. Key signs include:

• Subtle cues: yawning (when not sleepy), lip-licking, ears pinned back, dilated pupils.

• Clear signals: tail tucked, hiding, loss of appetite, trembling, pacing.

2️⃣ What Can Cause Stress?

Stressors can come from both outside and inside the dog:

• External causes: loud noises, new home, routine changes, unfamiliar people or dogs.

• Internal causes: pain, health issues, lack of rest, breed-specific traits.

3️⃣ How You Can Help

To support your dog through stressful times:

• Create a calm safe space where they can relax and retreat.

• Keep your own tone and energy calm — dogs pick up on your stress.

• Provide mental and physical stimulation (walks, puzzles, new sniff routes) to channel energy.

• Remove them from the stressor when possible and avoid punishing stress behaviours.

A cat’s pregnancy lasts around 63-65 days, and while changes can be subtle at first, here’s what you may notice:

𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀

🐾 Ni***es become more visible and pinker early on.

🐾 Gradual weight gain as pregnancy progresses.

🐾 Mammary glands filling closer to birth.

𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀

🐾 Nesting instincts appear, usually in the last 2 weeks.

🐾 Your cat may search for quiet, safe, and dark spaces.
