**Little Timmy's Journey**
On November 24th, we welcomed Timmy, an orange kitten, into our care. He is the sibling of the little kitten we rescued after a tragic dog attack. Sadly, despite our best efforts, his sibling didn’t make it. Timmy's arrival was bittersweet, as we knew we had to do everything to give him a fighting chance.
When Timmy first arrived, he seemed okay but showed signs of illness. He had discharge from his eyes and nose and a mysterious infection on the tips of his ears. Concerned it might be cat flu, we took him to the vet, he was prescribed antibiotics, eye ointment, and antibacterial cream for his ears.
He has also been struggling with diarrhea, but despite this, Timmy’s appetite remains strong, and he drinks well. He’s not 100% yet, and we’re monitoring him closely to help him recover fully.
One of Timmy’s most heartwarming traits is his constant biscuit-making. He kneads his tiny paws so much that he even “knits” while he walks! It’s a sweet reminder of his resilience and his desire for comfort and love during this challenging time.
We are hopeful for Timmy’s recovery and are pouring all our love and care into ensuring he thrives. Thank you to everyone who supports Whiskers of Hope—you are giving kittens like Timmy a chance at a better life.
Last night, we received an emergency call about a tiny kitten that had been attacked by dogs. A kind-hearted lady who found the kitten reached out for help and agreed to meet me halfway.
When she handed me the little one, we rushed to the 24/7 Vet Clinic in Albion. The kitten cried in pain the entire way. At the clinic, the vet carefully examined him, and the extent of his injuries became clear.
The kitten’s back leg was broken in two places, his intestines were punctured from the dog bites, and there was severe internal bleeding. A large sac was bulging from his tiny belly. The prognosis was devastating, with little to no chance of survival.
After a difficult discussion, we made the heartbreaking decision to end his suffering and put him to sleep peacefully.
Being a rescuer is incredibly rewarding, but moments like these are soul-crushing. Rest in peace, little one. We tried our best.
This sweet young mom is just a kitten herself, one of the many strays in our village. We rescued her 5 days ago after she gave birth to two beautiful kittens in the bushes on an open piece of land. Despite her rough start, she’s the most affectionate and loving kitten we’ve ever met.
She has two brothers who are still shy around humans, but a kind-hearted neighbor is feeding them. Our goal is to feed, catch, vaccinate, sterilize, and release them to ensure they have healthier and safer lives.
We can’t do this alone. We need your help to continue our rescue efforts. Please consider donating—no matter how small, every bit makes a difference. Together, we can give them the care and love they deserve. Thank you for your support!

Update on Gizmo and Sylvester! These little ones are officially 3 weeks old and doing so well! They’re growing, playing, and thankfully, no health issues so far. Still keeping a close eye as we have 2 more weeks until they’re out of the fading syndrome danger zone, but we’re so grateful for their progress. Love these two so much!

Little Miss Daisy went on a road trip today...

Daisy is a ball of energy! Sometimes I think her name doesn’t quite suit her because, wow, this little ginger kitten is nonstop. She runs all day, jumps, and even climbs the walls! Even though her constant active behavior can be exhausting, she’ll surely put a smile on your face with all her tricks and silliness. I sincerely hope her new adoptive family is ready for her.
