We rescued this mommy and her two newborn kittens on the 14th of November. Mommy already found a new owner, and kittens will be up for adoption after sterilization and vaccination in the next two weeks.

**Update on Mommy and Her Kittens**
After taking in Timmy on November 24th, I decided it was safest to avoid contact with the stray mommy and her two kittens until we were absolutely certain that Timmy was free from cat flu or any other illnesses. I couldnât risk spreading anything to the healthy mommy and her babies.
During this time, my daughter stepped up and took over the responsibilities of caring for and feeding them. And what an incredible job she has done! The little ones have grown so much in these past weeksâtheyâve even started walking and playing! The male kitten is still quite small, but his sister is a little chubby ball of fluff. They are absolutely beautiful!
Mommy is doing well, too. She is loving and attentive to her babies, and itâs amazing to see how she nurtures them. Once the kittens are weaned, Mommy will be sterilized and vaccinated to ensure her health and prevent any future litters. The kittens will also be sterilized and vaccinated when theyâre old enough and will be put up for adoption into loving forever homes.
Watching this family grow and thrive has been such a joy, and I canât wait to see them flourish even more in the weeks to come. Thank you for supporting Whiskers of Hope and helping us give these beautiful souls a chance at a brighter future!
**Little Timmy's Journey**
On November 24th, we welcomed Timmy, an orange kitten, into our care. He is the sibling of the little kitten we rescued after a tragic dog attack. Sadly, despite our best efforts, his sibling didnât make it. Timmy's arrival was bittersweet, as we knew we had to do everything to give him a fighting chance.
When Timmy first arrived, he seemed okay but showed signs of illness. He had discharge from his eyes and nose and a mysterious infection on the tips of his ears. Concerned it might be cat flu, we took him to the vet, he was prescribed antibiotics, eye ointment, and antibacterial cream for his ears.
He has also been struggling with diarrhea, but despite this, Timmyâs appetite remains strong, and he drinks well. Heâs not 100% yet, and weâre monitoring him closely to help him recover fully.
One of Timmyâs most heartwarming traits is his constant biscuit-making. He kneads his tiny paws so much that he even âknitsâ while he walks! Itâs a sweet reminder of his resilience and his desire for comfort and love during this challenging time.
We are hopeful for Timmyâs recovery and are pouring all our love and care into ensuring he thrives. Thank you to everyone who supports Whiskers of Hopeâyou are giving kittens like Timmy a chance at a better life.
Last night, we received an emergency call about a tiny kitten that had been attacked by dogs. A kind-hearted lady who found the kitten reached out for help and agreed to meet me halfway.
When she handed me the little one, we rushed to the 24/7 Vet Clinic in Albion. The kitten cried in pain the entire way. At the clinic, the vet carefully examined him, and the extent of his injuries became clear.
The kittenâs back leg was broken in two places, his intestines were punctured from the dog bites, and there was severe internal bleeding. A large sac was bulging from his tiny belly. The prognosis was devastating, with little to no chance of survival.
After a difficult discussion, we made the heartbreaking decision to end his suffering and put him to sleep peacefully.
Being a rescuer is incredibly rewarding, but moments like these are soul-crushing. Rest in peace, little one. We tried our best.
This sweet young mom is just a kitten herself, one of the many strays in our village. We rescued her 5 days ago after she gave birth to two beautiful kittens in the bushes on an open piece of land. Despite her rough start, sheâs the most affectionate and loving kitten weâve ever met.
She has two brothers who are still shy around humans, but a kind-hearted neighbor is feeding them. Our goal is to feed, catch, vaccinate, sterilize, and release them to ensure they have healthier and safer lives.
We canât do this alone. We need your help to continue our rescue efforts. Please consider donatingâno matter how small, every bit makes a difference. Together, we can give them the care and love they deserve. Thank you for your support!

Update on Gizmo and Sylvester! These little ones are officially 3 weeks old and doing so well! Theyâre growing, playing, and thankfully, no health issues so far. Still keeping a close eye as we have 2 more weeks until theyâre out of the fading syndrome danger zone, but weâre so grateful for their progress. Love these two so much!
