The owner of the page doesn't see them, but others do, as if it were an authentic publication that you had made! They post their comments as if they were you... Please, if something as such happens on my page, notify me immediately. Out of respect for EVERYONE, I distance myself from such publications. Copy and paste on your page. Notice: PROCEDURE WAS DONE UNDER FIELD SETTING WITH MINIMUM RESOURCES

On February 19, Pet Planet was called to attend to a dog. All that was communicated was, "our dog has a wound on the neck". Upon arrival, it was discovered that the dog had a deep wound that was circumscribing the whole neck (picture #1). The owners had now idea how the wound came because the last time they checked the dog he had no wound. After a full physical exam, a treatment plan was made and our Vet Surgeon Dr Vincent started working. The dog was given a general anaesthesia and the area around the wound was clipped and cleaned (picture #2). The surgeon start cleaning and debriding the wound (removing dead tissue) and it was during debriding when a spiral wire was discovered deep inside the wound (pictures #3&4). The wire was removed and after debriding the wound was cleaned with iodine and flushed with normal seline (pictures #5&6). The vet sutured 🪡 the wound and placed drains (pictures #7,8&9). Immediately after recovering from anaesthesia, the dog was looking brighter. Looking at the neck, you would think someone has done a head transplant on it😜 (picture #10). 4 Days later, the dog was rechecked and the wound on the dorsal side was dry and healing nicely (picture #11&12). The drains were removed and some sutured were added where the drains were exiting the wound. As of 28th of February, the wound was almost done on the dorsal side. Some stitches are being removed and it may take about two weeks to remove all stitches.

Patient of the Day (Story summarized in picture 1 to 7.☺️

Kristrani (the cat) was brought to Pet Planet in a terrible condition. He was weak and had no appetite for 3 days. He was discharging pus stained saliva from his mouth and his tongue was sticking outside. Our Vet Dr Vincent Kachisi did a full exam on Kristrani and he was found with a fish bone stuck in the mouth and bite wound on the tail.

Kristrani was put on General Anaesthesia to remove the bone, clean the wound and also to castrate him.
We are happy to say that barely 30 minutes after recovering from anaesthesia he had her appetite back and looking happier.

Kristrani went back home same day much brighter than he came with some antibiotics and pain relief meds.
