Here is another example of a very special horse. NO PHOTOS was bred by Gilberto Leal and originally registered as "Stop Chic Shine". He was raised and started in Mexico and later sent to me by the Leal's– a customer who I rode horses for many years ago. NO PHOTOS has an incredible amount of ability and talent. Few horses are capable of what he can naturally do. I believe in horses like NO PHOTOS and am constantly working to develop his talents for the future. As much as I believed he was a horse that could have stepped up won the Futurity, we were not ready come Finals night. His $26,826 in earnings for owner Teton Ridge represents just the beginning of a great career. He is a like a Maserati. It takes the slightest of mistakes to hinder his opportunities. I've always taken the time to learn about the smallest of details to encourage a horse to perform to their potential. It's a responsibility to the horses that I have a lot of respect for. It may take a little longer to get them in the winners circle, but it's always worth the extra effort. Not only do I believe this, but I think most of my customers, especially the breeders care deeply about it. We all want to win, but what defines us is how we go about it– this applies to our past, present and future.
