Full Horse Boarding: $320 usd or $6080 mx per month
Guided rides: $35 usd per hour or $700 mx per hour
Riding lessons: $100 usd or $2000 mx for 4 one hour lessons
Horse Training: $ pricing determined after evaluation/consultation

Don’t let that time stamp fool you. Today’s ride was only 1.5 hours. Donna said, “I left my phone in my saddle bag! I rode Vincente, Bella rode Smoky, Antonio rode Chappy and Ulises rode Charlie. Nice quiet ride!”

Last week Donna reported that she had some nice rides, great weather and only three encounters with loose dogs.

Donna reported in saying, “Hot and humid today 91* Both rides were purposefully slow . First ride I rode Max, taking a lower level ride through the community. Hot no breeze! Second ride I rode Vincente, taking him up the mountain, much nicer with a breeze! The other 3 horses were ridden by Ulises. He went to the arena for some work, then a short walk about cool down before being turned out. It a very pretty day but so dang hot!”
I teased Donna that she may need a turn at the wash rack after a day like today!

All of the horses of B. H. E. are either ridden or ponied along side, getting out and about, different routes, sights and sounds, exercising both their bodies and their brains.

Last week Donna and the horses of B. H. E. put some miles in. The first ride was just Donna on Max, a nice easy walk about ride. Second ride she rode her horse Vincente, and her ranch hand Ulises rode Charlie. Donna said that Ulises will go out on another ride on Smokey while ponying Chappy along beside him. The last route pictured here was Donna out solo. She said, “Nice easy ride for me and Max. It’s hot here, so we are just staying in shape exercise wise.”

Two days and two easy rides. Donna reported, “Hi, we are waiting on the Shoer today so only Max And Chappy had a walk about. The rest of the horses are getting new shoes tomorrow. It was very warm and muggy today, so it was just an easy ride.”

Monday was a spot light on Max day. Donna rode Max and ponied Vincente. She said, “Today’s ride was a walk about. We wormed Saturday, so today’s rides were walking, covering a lot of distance, and working on leg and body ques. Max was perfect! I didn’t have to pick up on my reins at all, perfect turns and back ups without using my reins. Ulises rode Chappy and then he rode Charlie. The horses all got a nice body rinse after their rides. Nice warm and sunny day here.”
It sounds to me like B.H.E. is off to a great start to the week!

Fun Friday field trip for two lucky horses as Donna reported, “Today we are working on loading in new (to us) trailer and going to the beach. Bella & Ulises worked with horses Charlie and Boqui . Well done, nice trailer ride, nice walk on the beach. All went well. 5 more horses to go, next week!”

Ten days ago “Max” was showing signs of distress/colic. Donna took immediate action to make him comfortable and called Dr. Orfil to the ranch. With Dr. Orfil’s assistance and treatment Donna is happy to report that Max is doing well. Donna has been taking him out on short walks to ensure a complete recovery. Thank you Dr. Orfil!

Donna reports that they have been busy at B. H. E. She was happy to welcome new riders Jose and Mina. Jose rode Chappy, and as this was Mina’s first ride, she was paired up with trusty Max. With all new riders Donna includes a bit of schooling before riding out, building confidence in the saddle. She said, “We practiced turning left and right, we serpentined thru the olive grove, we practiced stopping and backing up. This was a great ride! Both riders did great and we hope they return to ride with us again soon.”
