An Action news pupdate! With the help of a friend we were able to make a conference call to a live person at paypal and the account is fixed. Its ok to send donations to our paypal account to [email protected] . Dis regard the comments below about the problem with paypal.
I was with out workers for 5 days and the place was a total disaster. When I got my social security check on friday, I was able to buy 14 bags of food at costco and pay my workers for a couple of days. The 3 señoritas and Luis have been coming since monday to clean, so things are clean again. As long as I keep handing out money, they show up. They will be back tomorrow. I went to Walmart monday and was having trouble with my van. It stalled out a couple times. I parked in the lot in front of walmart to buy stuff. When I tried to leave the van wouldnt start. I bought 2 liters of oil, but that didn help. I suspect maybe the battery was bad. So I had to leave the van parked there over night, took a taxi home with the stuff I bought. I returned the next morning to find the little window on the van was broken into. They stole the battery (which may be no great loss) and a large professional tire jack. And they threw all my junk in the van all over the place. It was quite a mess. I had to hoof it to mechanic,the next day; then a mini taxi to walmart. A manger helped me to call my car insurance it took over 25 minutes of talking on the phone with the guy. See photo of broken window.
The Manager did the talking the the insurance guy. Since they only speak spanish. Fiially after all that blah blah blah, he said they were sending a n adjuster. It took nearly an hour for the guy to show up. Then he got on the phone with someone for a long time. I kept telling him to call a tow truck. truck. After all his talking on the phone he said the tow truck was coming and he left. I had to wait nearly 2 hours for the tow truck to show up. We got the van to my mechanic which is a few blocks from walmart. I had to wait again outside for almost an hour for the mechanic to show up after lunch. I was exhausted from standing around in the blazing sun all day. He gave me a ride to my digs 5 blocks away. The next day I had to take a taxi to costco to get a new battery. Took the taxi with the battery to my mechanic. He fix a hose for the transmission oil the rats chewed up and put the battery in and I returned home. The battery cost around $135. US. Unfortunately that was the money I was going to pay my workers today. We ran out of food and money today. To make things worse, I have been having problems with paypal . It has been impossible to get alive person on the phone to fix the problem. I have been calling the paypal numbers for a few days and cant get in. Only recorded messages in a run around and then hung up. I think maybe paypal may be having problems, maybe going out of business.
For the moment please dont send donations by paypal or this fundrazr site until I can get paypal straightened out.

Regarding our Tuesday $2 challenge, it was a dismal failure and disappointment. There wasnt even enough money to feed our neighbors cat.
