70th IVSA Symposium in México

Dear IVSA Members,

It is with a lot of sadness in our hearts that we announce that the 70th Symposium in Mexico is canceled.

Due to multiple restrictions related to the current pandemic restrictions made by the country government and the university, and after several meetings between ExCo and the Mexico OC, it was decided to cancel the event. Therefore it will be an SGA event, with one weekend of Educational Activities and one weekend of General Assembly.

During the last ExCo Meeting the dates for the SGA were decided (19th-20th and 26th-27th of February 2022) and we also decided that aiming to honor and respect all the that Mexico had to organize the Simposium we’re gonna have an ExCo Live Meeting over the week between the two SGA weekends and it’s gonna be hosted by IVSA Mexico.

Dear IVSA Members:

We are writing this email to inform you that the 70th Symposium (held in Guadalajara, México) is now canceled, due to the ongoing pandemic.

We are truly saddened with this situation; however, our team deemed the cancelation necessary to prioritize the health and safety of every IVSA member.

We hope you are safe and healthy during this pandemic and continue to take the measures necessary so we are able to meet in person soon.
