Whiskas es un producto que esta compuesto por químicos y partes baratas y con algo que hace que los animales se vicien no importa si sea gato o perro, lo que hace este producto es destruir los riñones del animal.

Esto sucede por el exceso de proteinas en el alimento que llega e inflama el pancreas evitando la circulacion de alimento al intestino ocasionando asi la muerte del animal.

Si ustedes dedican unos segundos de su tiempo en poner en Google "Whiskas Quimicos" o "Whiskas Malo" saldran link de foros de miles de personas que se les ha mu**to la mascota por la culpa del alimento.

Nuestro consejo es que no alimente a su gato u otro animal con whiskas porque es mortal ya que contiene químicos baratos que hacen que al animal se le destruya el sistema digestivo.

En resumen:➡️Los enferma de los riñones y de las vías urinarias. Se les tapan con cálculos o cristales que se les forman, y mueren con una muerte horrible si la enfermedad se hizo crónica. Tomados a tiempo pueden llegar a salvarse.

Agregamos que todo alimento que se encuentra en supermercados y los alimentos de colores son de la misma pesima calidad de Whiskas.....si lo queres...Cuidalo!!!!

🐾Indicaciones:
🔘Ayuno de agua y comida de al menos 12 horas (si hay duda de que haya ingerido algo evitar la operación ya que podría ser mortal).
🔘Que esté limpio y libre de pulgas y/o garrapatas.
🔘Llevar una toalla para cuando se los entreguen
🔘Recuerden que el animalito debe estar por lo menos 7 días resguardado sin que se mueva mucho para que la cirugía sea un éxito 🙌🏻.
La esterilización ayuda a que el abandono y maltrato disminuyan, esto es por ellos🐶🐱

This past Sunday, more than 200 of Amigos de los Animales supporters attended our Annual Champagne Brunch at Marina El CID’s Beach Club where they enjoyed sipping champagne and savouring a delicious brunch; while bidding on our silent auction items and donating to our special projects.

At this year’s event, our Special Project donations raised enough money to pay for the addition of FIVE new kennels at the shelter – allowing us to help even more street animals. We received matching funds of $10,000 pesos from a generous, anonymous donor. With the total money collected, we will begin immediately to construct the new cages.

Thanks to all of the restaurants, businesses and individuals who donated items for our auctions and donation boxes. Thanks to those who bought tickets and attended the affair. Thanks to shelter staff and volunteers who worked tirelessly to pull this event together. Marina El Cid provided a beautiful location, great service and tasty food. Their service staff did an exceptional job. In addition to paying for the new kennels, the money raised at this annual fund raiser should be enough to cover four or five months of operating expenses for the shelter.

Amigos de los Animales is so excited to see everyone tomorrow morning for our annual Champagne Brunch at 9:00 a.m.

Don’t forget that the venue has changed and this year, the Brunch will be held at Marina El Cid Beach Club. This is El Cid’s beautiful event center located on the beach peninsula just north of Marina El Cid hotel and south of La Marina Yacht and Tennis condominium complex. From the north end you can drive directly to the venue. If you choose to enter from Marina El Cid hotel, you can take the (FREE) five-minute, water taxi ride to the event center – which is kind of a fun way to start the day.

This annual event is more than an ordinary brunch. Our event features a tasty buffet with many hot and cold food choices, unlimited mimosas (sparkling wine and orange juice) and a Silent Auction with dozens of items to bid on. In addition, there will be raffles for two booze baskets and a separate 50/50 raffle draw, where the winning ticket holder takes home half of the pot of pesos.

The cost for a ticket is $550 pesos. There are only 230 tickets available at this smaller venue, so buy yours early and save some pesos. All proceeds benefit Amigos de los Animales, Mazatlán’s Humane Society.

We have reports of poison bait in the following locations:

Centro: Corner of Carvajal and Canizales. Poisoned chicken and chicken skin on the sidewalk.
Los Pinos: Poisoned food on street and thrown into a person’s garage. Family cat intentionally poisoned.
Valle Dorado: Corner of Valle Dorado and Valle de Guadalupe. Multitple poisonings reported.
Ampliación Valle Bonito: No details
Prados del Sol: Calle Estepa

There have already been several animal fatalities. Please keep in mind that people who are out to poison animals may leave poison in multiple locations.

This week, we would like to introduce Chiquis. She is a medium-sized, three-year-old, female doggy – tan in color with a black muzzle and eyebrows and black and white highlights in her fur. Chiquis was rescued from an abusive home, where she was tied up all day, tethered by a five-foot rope. She was loaded with ticks and fleas. Chiquis was first taken to the ranch north of town, where our Cat Annex is located. She was treated for anemia and ehrlichiosis, a tick-borne bacterial infection. Chiquis recovered her health. She has been spayed and is now ready to be adopted by a loving family.

In spite of Chiquis’ abusive past, she has a gentle temperament. She seems happy to be in a comfortable environment. She will be a good family pet – loyal and protective of her new people. Chiquis does not need a special diet or any medication. She must continue eating a healthy, nutritious diet. Let’s find Chiquis a loving Forever Home this holiday season.
