Excellent weekend, as you know, there are many activities here at Refugio Teca Animals. Now, with the leafy trees, we can enjoy the shade but also have lots of leaves to sweep. We rarely have visitors or volunteers to help with these activities, like walking the dogs, giving baths, socializing, etc. But when we do have them, we truly appreciate it.

We thank Magda for the great support she has given us, from transportation to sterilizations with our dogs—without charging a single peso for gasoline—coming to help us, and for lending us a bicycle that is very useful for trips to the store since it’s far from the shelter. We have also been cleaning around the cages, removing some grass. There are still so many activities we need to complete.

The water pipe was purchased before the end of the month due to constant water use for washing dishes, blankets, and the dogs' houses. This water pipe costs around 1,400 pesos.

We thank Debra Barsalou, Linda Marie Burchell, and all the people who donate through her, and everyone who donates to us—every amount contributes to our cause. If you wish to donate to help us continue working and caring for our dogs, which are rescued from the street, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Soon, we will need to give them Nexgard again because, being in a dirt area, it’s given more frequently. Since most of them had ehrlichia, we must be very careful to prevent ticks from making them sick again.
