My journey of fostering began with a charming little soul named Cactus 🌵Jack, who captured my heart during my Mexican adventure. He was found in an area referred to as The Lonely Road located in Chelem, Mexico.
He was all by himself, emaciated and sick and was maybe 4months old. This little one did not have much longer on earth. Sarah Randall who first found Cactus Jack posted on Facebook asking for help to save this little lost soul. Cactus Jack was captured, taken to a local veterinarian. Vet bills were paid by those who captured him. 🙏
When his medical tests were cleared (as I have another dog) I helped by fostering CJ. We don’t even know if CJ had seen a human or wagged his tail before being captured. All I knew was he needed someone to give him patience, nutrition and love. Each day we saw a difference in Cactus Jack and to watch our other dog be so good with him was so heartwarming. The best thing was to watch Cactus Jack become the puppy he was supposed to be.
Through this entire process, fostering was so rewarding on many levels. The goal here is to create a team of animal loving people who are willing to foster, This page will provide support and educate those interested to take that chance and foster.
Help these dogs rehabilitate and become the dogs they are supposed to be.
