We apologize to anyone we offended by being named "Rancho el Charro Hoseback Tours" on WhatsApp.
.. we also apologize to those looking for "hoseback tours", we do not know what they are, and we do not want to know. 😂

The frequency of bookings has gone drastically down since I made those changes two weeks ago. Big yikes.

Today we're releasing STORIES!

Everything you touch seems to have stories these days: Facebook has them, Instagram has them, Snapchat has them, LinkedIn has them. We thought we'd have them too!

We'll highlight these over the next few weeks. Our first is "The Demon Tequila of Puerto Vallarta" — a horror-comedy story about a group of gringos who go on a tequila tasting tour only to find out that the booze they are drinking is cursed and turns their guide into a monster.

This one was fun because we got to create some really dark illustrations for such a whacky plot. In the end, the gringos prevail thanks to tequila, so maybe it's a coming of age story? I don't know.

You're probably thinking "how is this relevant to having a horse ranch in Vallarta?" — to answer: it's absolutely not!

The Demon Tequila of Puerto Vallarta" is a horror-comedy story about a group of friends who go on a tequila tasting tour in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

We are trying to think of a good marketing campaign. I personally like Chick-fil-A's "eat more chicken" one.

Perhaps we do the same with whales, "ride more horses"?

> The best horse adventure I've ever been on! I'll be back every time I'm in PV. Thank you for the most magical moments.

🥲

Looks like Disney World has some competition. Probably less now that daddy Iger is back, but that doesn't mean we're not going to try!

For the last 24 hours we experienced an issue causing our booking system to be offline. It appears to be sorted, now.

(In case you're wondering, our tiny Redis instance was running out of connections, causing the app to crash.)

Day of the Dead originated several thousand years ago with the Aztec, Toltec, and other Nahua people, who considered mourning the dead disrespectful. For these pre-Hispanic cultures, death was a natural phase in life’s long continuum. The dead were still members of the community, kept alive in memory and spirit—and during Día de los Mu***os, they temporarily returned to Earth.

It would be really awful if the horses turned into ghosts.

No rides on Saturday. The horses are going to take some nudes.

We are all safe and sound. Princessa is a little whiney but I think she wants KFC.

"Casper was very polite. Every time he stopped to eat grass or leaves he always cleaned around his mouth (with his tongue) to make sure he didn't have food hanging around on his face." - Evelyn

Thanks, Evelyn!

We revamped part of the booking process so it's a bit more straightforward now. If you have any issues (the nerd makes lots of bugs!) please let us know!

We're looking for a photographer local to Vallarta to take some photos... :)

Here's a reminder that October is a great month to go horseback riding.
