URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR GREGORIO

Again we have a severe TVT case.
This little scruffy guy is Gregorio, he was found roaming on the streets of playa del carmen trying to find something to eat.
Gregorio has tvt spread all over his body, face, mouth, eyes and ge****ls.
We rush him to the vet because He is malnourish and dehydrated, vet put him on IV to give him fluids.
He got fully checked and fortunately he still has both eyes under those nasty tumors but we need to start chemo treatment to make sure the eyes dont get infected.
Unfortunately TVT is a very common disease in our area , is very curable but most of the time the cost of the treatment is the main issue to cure the dog.
We will do our best to help Gregorio, he Will stay at the clinic for a couple of days to make sure he gets the meds he needs and we will get the first chemo by the end of the week.
Each chemo is $55usd and gregorio will need at least 7 rounds.

Una vez más, tenemos un caso grave de TVT.

Este pequeño tipo desaliñado es Gregorio, lo encontraron vagando por las calles de la playa del carmen tratando de encontrar algo de comer.

Gregorio tiene televisión por todo el cuerpo, la cara, la boca, los ojos y los genitales.

Lo apresuramos al veterinario porque está desnutrido y deshidratado, el veterinario lo puso por vía intravenosa para darle líquidos.

Lo revisaron por completo y, afortunadamente, todavía tiene ambos ojos debajo de esos tumores desagradables, pero tenemos que comenzar el tratamiento de quimioterapia para asegurarnos de que los ojos no se infecten.

Desafortunadamente, la TVT es una enfermedad muy común en nuestra área, es muy curable, pero la mayoría de las veces el costo del tratamiento es el principal problema para curar al perro.

Haremos todo lo posible para ayudar a Gregorio, se quedará en la clínica durante un par de días para asegurarse de que reciba los medicamentos que necesita y recibiremos la primera quimioterapia al final de la semana.

Cada quimioterapia cuesta 55 dólares y gregorio necesitará al menos 7 rondas.

Hace unos días nos encontramos a esta chaparrita arrastrándose por el domo de Leona Vicario, es una perrita chihuahua ya entrada en años.
Preguntamos por la zona a ver si era de algún vecino pero nadie supo nada, ni vio quien la fue a tirar ahí.
Le pusimos de nombre Zoe, al parecer tiene fractura de columna ya que no mueve sus patas traseras, aun hay algo de sensibilidad pero no presenta dolor así que tal vez es fractura no tan reciente, pero igualmente necesita que la llevemos a checar y tomar rayos X para tener un mejor panorama.
Zoe ya esta adulta, tiene muy pocos dientes y algunos están muy infectados, también presenta algunos tumores en glandulas mamarias,pero nos vamos a ir por partes, arreglando una cosa a la vez.
Por el momento tenemos varios casos complicados y operaciones que aún debemos ,por si alguien gusta echarnos la mano con Zoe y ayudarnos con los gastos se los voy a agradecer un chingo.

This little princess is Zoe, we found her this weekend dragging on the street near a Park, she is a senior dog and unfortunately she can't move the rear legs but we dont know what happen to her yet, maybe she got dumped there due her condition.
We will take her to the vet to get her full check, she has some mammary tumors too and is very malnourish.
Zoe will recibe all the medical attention she needs but we need your help to cover the expenses.

Hoy vinieron a visitarnos nuestras comadres de la agencia de viajes BePrice que estuvieron recaudando croquetas y productos de limpieza para donarlos la causa perruna.
La banda peluda se portó muy bien y estuvieron muy emocionados por tener visitas que los apapachara por hoy.

Siempre que llegan, llegan tristes, tímidos, temerosos, apenados... como si hubieran hecho algo malo, como si fuera su culpa su situación.
Hoy que andabamos por la hermana república de rancho viejo nos encontramos con esta flaca que parece un modelo 3D de esqueleto perruno, andaba tristeando por la calles y ni modo de dejarla, esta a nada de entregarle el collar y la correa a san pedro, pero pos vamos a hacer lo posible pa darle su levanton y en una de esas hasta casa nueva le conseguimos.
Se llama Dominno, si alguien gusta amadrinarla/apadrinarla ,les dejo la info en la última foto.

Esta chaparrita es la Pupusa, es una perrita callejera de Cancún qué trata de sobrevivir día a día.
Desafortunadamente tiene un tumor enorme en glandulas mamarias debido a que nunca fue esterilizada y seguramente queda preñada muy seguido.
Ya se encuentra con nosotros y esta siendo evaluada para poder realizar la cirugía lo antes posible ya que el tumor se puede reventar y provocar más problemas.
Pupusa es una perrita adulta, muy tranquila, se encuentra con sarna y desnutrida.
Vamos a hacer todo lo posible para ayudarla pero necesitamos de su apoyo para poder cubrir los gastos.
Si esta en tus manos donar te loa agradeceremos enormemente.

This big guy is TITAN, he lives in a gas station outside Cancún, he got infected with TVT and tumors are growing on the face, employes had been trying to help him but vet services are not close by.
Today we went to pick him up and now he is with us, he was put in quarentine to avoid other dogs get infected.
Titan needs chemos and we will start treatment next week because face is very infected and one eye is going grey.
We will do our best to help titan, but we know your help.
Each chemo cost $45usd and he Will nedd at least 6 rounds, 1 every week.

Este perruno es Titan, vive en una gasolinera en las afueras de Cancún, desafortunadamente esta infectado de TVT y los tumores ya están muy infectados en la cara.
Titan necesita quimioterapias cada semana, por al menos 6 semanas para poder reducir los tumores.
Titan es un perro joven que al no estar esterilizado pues busca hembras para cruzarse y pues se infectó.
Aunque el tvt se ve muy aparatoso tiene cura y haremos todo lo posible para que titan se recupere pero para lograrlo necesitamos de tu apoyo.

URGENT HELP NEEDED!!
CHIKITA
Yesterday i went out to run some errands in town and while i was buying some groceries i heard some tires screeching and a dog screaming in pain.
I went out of the store and found this princess laying on the floor.
Weather was very bad and i didn't make it to the vet because roads were very flooded, so i took her today first time in the morning to get her checked and to take some xrays.
Unfortunately she has a broken femur split in half, no Wonder why she was in pain and she will need surgery to fix it.
The easy and cheap way to fix it is to cut the whole leg, but the vets said they can safe the leg if they put a metal plate and screws, that way she will keep the leg and have a better quality life.
Surgery will be done tomorrow (friday) and cost is $850 usd.
We really could use some help, we are struggling right now with the rains and storms doing some improvements at the shelter to keep the dogs safe but we couldn't left her on the road suffering.

today we found this little princess, she was living on the streets outside Cancún, she is super skinny,malnourish,full of ticks and with a broken leg and hip.
Bonny is a young pup but with a very hard life, she will need surgery to fix the leg and hip.
We already start with erlichia treatment and gave her a bath to kill all the ticks, she will stay at the hospital a couple days to make sure she gets all the care she needs right now.

Help needed for Marce!!
This old furry guy is Marce, he is one of our senior permanent residents here at the jungle shelter.
A couple days ago he was "playing " with other pup and later that day we notice he was very uncomfort, didn't want to eat nothing and his face starts to swell.
Yesterday we took him to the vet to get checked and the x rays confirm there is a jaw fracture,plus some rotten teeth.
He is a distemper survivor and that contributes to have very weak bones.
He Will need a surgery to fix the jaw and there are 2 options ,some metal plates and screws to hold the jaw or remove the broken part in case the bones cant hold the metal pares.
He is under heavy drugs to reduce pain, good news he is eating ,drinking and resting, he is taking antibiotics to prevent infections.
Surgery will be next tuesday and we really need your help to cover this unexpected expense.

¡¡Necesitamos ayuda para Marce!!

Este viejo peludo es Marce, es uno de nuestros residentes permanentes aquí en el refugio de la selva.

Hace un par de días estaba "jugando" con otro cachorro y más tarde ese día nos dimos cuenta de que estaba muy incómodo, no quería comer nada y su cara comienza a hincharse.

Ayer lo llevamos al veterinario para que lo revisaran y los rayos X confirman que hay una fractura de mandíbula, además de algunos dientes podridos.

Es un sobreviviente de moquillo y eso contribuye a tener huesos muy débiles.

Necesitará una cirugía para arreglar la mandíbula y hay 2 opciones, algunas placas de metal y tornillos para sujetar la mandíbula o quitar la parte rota en caso de que los huesos no puedan sostener los pares de metal.

Está bajo dr**as pesadas para reducir el dolor, buenas noticias, está comiendo, bebiendo y descansando, está tomando antibióticos para prevenir infecciones.

La cirugía será el próximo martes y realmente necesitamos tu ayuda para cubrir este gasto inesperado.

This past weekend we had our first cost free spay/neuter campaign of the year in our small town, Leona Vicario.
People respond was amazing, we had space for 100 surgeries and at the end we did 105.
We want to thank to the amazing volunteers, owners ,medical team and of course our sponsors and
This wouldn't have been posible with out all of you.
We will continue doing our best to help our small comunnity and we will focus more on spay/neuter campaigns to reduce the stray population in the area.
