Oreo arrived at the S.P.A. in early August 2020 at the age of 3 months. She is a gray and white tabby with mostly a white salt and pepper coat. She is quiet, peaceful, and loving and gets along well with people and other cats and kittens. She enjoys her quiet time with a few breaks to play with the others and their catnip toys.​

Nick came to the S.P.A. on July 13, 2023 when he was about 1 year old old. A medium-sized dog, he is friendly with other dogs and with people. He looks forward to going for a walk and does well on leash. He has beautiful blue eyes and a gentle personality.

Excellent Veterinary Care at the S.P.A. Clinic!

The S.P.A. has a terrific, well-equipped clinic with a wonderful vet, Dr. Omar Córdova. The S.P.A. can provide routine care for your pet (general check-up and vaccinations) and meet all your pet’s needs, including diagnosing and treating medical issues, taking x-rays, doing lab work, performing sterilizations and other surgeries, and providing emergency care.

To avoid having a long wait, it is best to call for an appointment (415-152-6124). The clinic is open from 9-3, Monday-Saturday and stays open until 4 on Tuesdays and Saturdays which are our discount days! The prices for a consultation with our veterinarian and most vaccinations are reduced on those days.

Diva came to the S.P.A. on October 16, 2023 when she was about 1-1/2 years old. Small/medium-sized, Diva is a very happy, lively girl. She is outgoing and friendly with people and other dogs. She is eager to go for a walk and does well on leash. Rescued by the S.P.A. from Canine Control, Diva is safe with us as she waits for her forever home.

Aluxe arrived at the S.P.A. in early April 2018 at the age of one week. She is a beautiful tabby with very pretty markings. Shy at first, she will retreat to her safe place around new people and loud noises. When comfortable with her environment, she is a loving cat that gets along well with kind human and feline friends.

Zack came to the S.P.A. on March 8, 2024 when he was about 1-3/4 years old. Medium-sized, he is very excited to receive attention and looks forward to getting some exercise. He is a very sweet, happy dog, friendly to people and other dogs.

Xel-Ha, a beautiful tabby girl, was tearfully returned to the S.P.A in late June 2020 when she was just over two years old. Unfortunately, her adopter developed a severe allergy. Xel-Ha has lived her entire life at the S.P.A. and feels it is where she belongs; she feels safe and has friends there. She was very shy for about the first year of her life. Then she learned to trust regular visitors and loves to hang around them.

Selena came to the S.P.A. on April 22, 2024 when she was about 3 years old. What a happy girl Selena is! She is a small/medium-sized beauty, full of kisses and love! Surfer Boy arrived at the S.P.A. in March 2023 at three weeks old. He is a beautiful boy, full of personality. He loves to play and is always where the action is. He can be very affectionate and enjoys time on your lap. His coat is a golden-colored orange, layered with white, just as a wave looks when it breaks on the beach. Surf’s up! He would make a wonderful addition to any household.

Lo**ta is a lovely S.P.A. dog, ready for her forever home!

Lo**ta is a slender, elegant dog. She stares deeply in your eyes when you talk to her, one-on-one, and might give you a kiss on the nose if you're close enough. Sometimes, she just stretches out and listens to what you are saying. She really likes going for a walk and is easy to walk on leash. About 5 years old and medium-sized, she knows how to sit, stay, come, and lie down, and more. Most important, she is an easy, calm, sweet, smart dog.

Pammy came to the S.P.A. on June 30, 2020 when she was about 2-1/2 months old. Medium-sized, she is reluctant to go for a walk on the street and nervous about meeting people she doesn't know. She is playful, affectionate, very energetic, and spirited. She runs like a gazelle on her way to the dog exercise area to play with her neighbors.

Beatrice arrived at the S.P.A. on June 10, 2024 at five months old. She is an easy-going Siamese mix with adorable color points. She is affectionate, sweet, and loves to snuggle. There isn't a mean bone in her body. She needs a loving family who will shower her with attention and help her work through her shyness.

Zack is a terrific S.P.A. dog, ready for his forever home!

If there is such a thing as a perfect dog, it’s Zack! A little over 2 years old, he is a happy, friendly, medium-sized dog. Quiet and gentle, he loves everyone and would make a perfect addition to any home. A volunteer favorite, Zack gets excited to go for a walk and is easy to walk. He’s a smart boy too. He knows how to heel, sit, wait, and lie down and is an able and eager student. Zack is a dream dog!
