Canela -- such a happy girl! Hopefully one day she will find her forever home, but if she doesn't she will always have a home at Patitas.

There are approximately 100 dogs at Patitas! They are all provided with shelter, food, and veterinary treatment that they were lacking on the streets.

You can help by adopting or fostering one of these incredible dogs. You could also donate food or money to help with the costs of the shelter.

Bags of dog food can be dropped off in centro at Estrellas Gourmet, or in Los Tamarindos at Kelly's Cafe.

Wow we need more food. Its great we have what we have but with all the dogs (100)it will last only a few days. Please if you can bring a bag (big) to Estrellas Gourmet or Kelly Cafe. Oyr you can donate money. Please Help a little.

This is little Lupita. She is relatively new to Patitas. She is adjusting to the shelter but is still very timid. She was rescued with her mother but unfortunately came to the shelter without her. Her mother was hit by a car and the vet couldn't save her.

Every dog has a story. 💔
