Please join me in sending Dulcé and Leche (Lexi) good dog vibes. If they behave themselves they have a forever home on a big ranch with people to love them and room to roam.

Otherwise, they will come back to Mamá Luna.

Gracias a Dog I can speak Spanish and that I talk to everyone.

While filling my tank I arranged with the employee the neutering of two stray pups at the station!

I’d like to introduce Dulcé and Leche (aka Lexi), my two newest rescues.

These sweet and lovable sisters have been “guarding” a construction site in Pescadero for most of their six months of life. The job is almost complete and I imagine they would be left behind, dumped somewhere, or somehow become part of the fighting world, as breeding bi***es, bait, or fighters. We could not allow that to happen so we plucked them out of the situation, had them vaccinated and sterilized, and they are currently living at the Finca de La Luna Spa with a pack of friends.

Please let me know if you are interested in adopting one of these beauties!

Sweet and too-smart besita is on her Finishing School trip to Colorado with Betsy. From all accounts she is an outstanding student! She is doing well with other dogs, and with well-behaved children; she travels well; and she is discovering new amusements daily - such as crab-chasing and car-lounging.

I’m so excited that my Colorado friends will on have the chance to meet Besita!

I’m a lollipop. A complete sucker.

Dulcé is one of my two newest rescues. I know, I said no more rescues but Dulcé and Lexi were in dire need of a safe space to recover from their sterilization.

After living on a job site for the first six months of their lives, Finca de la Luna is like a heavenly spa vacation!

They were in heat and the scent of a bitch in brama (heat) was just overwhelming to my poor Jalisco. He has had no huevos for 7.5 years but that didn’t stop him! He is in list🤪

Amigos de los Animales is now accepting tianguis donations for our upcoming, 29th Annual Tianguis (Saturday 8 December, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm).

This year was a ruff year but we are gearing back up, and plan to rejoin the Spay/Neuter Renaissance happening here in the Todos Santos Area.

We are in particularly desperate need of a used stove or countertop cookstove.

We accept all goods in decent condition, with the exception of books/dvds/cds…. You can donate those to the Palapa Society.

Call Angelique at 612-1450250 to arrange a drop off or pick up.

Of course, cash donations are always welcome. Help us help the animals of Todos Santos!

My job these days seems to be tick-picker and snuggler at spay and neuter clinics.

Not a bad job - especially when 117 cats and dogs are sterilized, avoiding millions (literally!) of unwanted cats and dogs!

Every puppy has a story and every story makes my coal black heart happy.

Can you help get these two fur babies to their forever family?

I’m sad to report that Alfie and Banshee’s flight angel has had a major medical emergency so we are once again looking for an angel to es**rt them from Los Cabos airport to SFO.

If anyone is flying on Alaska on October 8 or later please consider being an angel. Their paperwork is all in order, I will meet you at the airport and handle everything, including their airfare. If you are in the Todos Santos area I can even give you a lift to the airport.

Is this your baby?

This sweet wee girl found her way to my home in Las Flores. She has a nice collar and looks well cared for, but she is terrified.

Or maybe someone can foster her until her people are found? Sadly I have 12 big rescue dogs and my place just would not be safe for her at the moment.

Are you looking for a sweet, sassy, and super smart adventure partner? A companion who is equally happy on the trails or snuggling on your lap?

Check out this sweet baby girl! Pantera is turning one-year old this week and is eager to find her forever human. She is spayed, completely vaccinated, well-trained, and is an amazing trail dog. She comes when called and is eager to meet new people – including walkers and mountain bikers.

She is a funny-faced mix of pug (with big eyes and small ears), Xolo (Mexican hairless), and Doberman with legs that go forever! She is about 45 pounds now so unless she eats too much I doubt she will grow much larger than 55 pounds.
