In order to make a difference, our foundation is organized into two separate but interdependent teams. We have the animal nursing and caring team that focuses entirely on the daily needs of those cats and kittens, and also the nerdy team, which strives to find charitable donations and support from the public. The animal care team works hard to provide the best food, medicine and care for the fur b
alls, ensuring that they are able to recover from whatever life had put them through. In general, we care for cats/kittens that are ill, disease infected (e.g. feline sporotrichotis), pregnant cats, injured cats, and abandoned cats/kittens. On the other hand, the nerdy team (or as we like to call it, the marketing team) is passionate about making the efforts and dreams of Meowy Cat Shelter known to the world. We do our best to help Meowy Shelter through various approaches so as to allow a continuous flow of non-profit income into Meowy. Rest assure that all donations and support given towards Meowy Shelter are solely for the improvement of our kitties life quality. There are many ways, YOU as a HUMAN BEING can contribute to Meowy Cat Shelter. So if you love to care for animals, JOIN US!!! If you wanna help but prefer to offer a technical skill (business, marketing, drawing, etc.) All in all, we love to hear from the public. 🏠 WE GIVE THEM HOME 💕 🐾
Every month, we see a steady increase in Shelter expenses.
Why? Because we care for the forgotten — cats and kittens with terminal illnesses like FIP, cancer, sporo, diabetes, kidney failure, stomatitis, and even paralysis.
Some senior cats were boarded and then abandoned.
Many were once rescued by the public/owner and brought to Shelter with a promise that they will help every month but support stopped after a month/two or none at all.💔 We are left to carry the burden — financially and emotionally.
But we don’t give up on them.
We love and care for them until their final breath.

Do take note
A one-time surrender fee is required and very much appreciated. The fee amount depends on the condition and age of the fur baby.
Please note that no updates will be provided after the cat/kitten is surrendered. This is a standard condition we inform the public of during the acceptance process.
Once a cat/ kitten is surrendered, they will be placed under quarantine—kept in a cage until it is confirmed healthy and ready for the next steps.
Any amount collected in excess of the expenses will be used to support the care of other rescued kittens and cats.

Newly Abandoned Kittens – Safe and Recovering
These kittens were recently found abandoned but are now safe with a fosterer. They have already received:
A full vet check-up, deworming and defleaing treatment.
They are currently undergoing a quarantine period to ensure their health and safety. Once cleared, they will be put up for adoption into loving homes.

Meet Pink: The Black Kitten with a Colorful Story
Pink got her name the same way some bald guys get called “Curly”—with a wink and a grin. You see, Pink isn’t pink at all. She’s black. Jet black. Stealth-mode-at-midnight black. But her name? That’s the twist.
Pink’s adventure started in the unlikeliest of places: inside a car engine. Yep, this tiny feline stowaway decided that a warm engine was the perfect place for a nap. Thankfully, someone heard her tiny meows before ignition and rescued her from her accidental joyride.
She was brought to the shelter, where she quickly worked her magic—head tilts, tiny purrs, and a look that said, “Yes, I was born to be adored.” Pink didn’t stay long. During a lively adoption event at New World Park, she locked eyes with her future family, and boom—love at first meow.
Now Pink lives like the royalty 👑 she was clearly born to be, napping in cozy spots (preferably not engine blocks), and charming everyone she meets.

Hi There! Thank you for visiting Meowy Cat Shelter. Meowy Cat Shelter was set up in September 2014 with a dying cat name Kaka. Kaka was a hit and run cat that was found in the middle of the road in May 2014. With its head injured and struggling for life. Kaka was nursed back to health and journey to find a home for her begun. Alas , I am not able to find a home just a lot of rejections. At the same time I discovered that there are no place for special need cats and kittens. “ MEOWY BORN SEPT 2014”
An average of 50 kittens been accepted by Shelter with a survival rate of 80% monthly and an average adoption rate of 30 kittens per month. Adult cats with serious case are accepted at an average of 15 cats and survival rate depending on the extend of injuries.
Kittens room was set up , instead of cage up they have their place to play.
