In order to make a difference, our foundation is organized into two separate but interdependent teams. We have the animal nursing and caring team that focuses entirely on the daily needs of those cats and kittens, and also the nerdy team, which strives to find charitable donations and support from the public. The animal care team works hard to provide the best food, medicine and care for the fur b

alls, ensuring that they are able to recover from whatever life had put them through. In general, we care for cats/kittens that are ill, disease infected (e.g. feline sporotrichotis), pregnant cats, injured cats, and abandoned cats/kittens. On the other hand, the nerdy team (or as we like to call it, the marketing team) is passionate about making the efforts and dreams of Meowy Cat Shelter known to the world. We do our best to help Meowy Shelter through various approaches so as to allow a continuous flow of non-profit income into Meowy. Rest assure that all donations and support given towards Meowy Shelter are solely for the improvement of our kitties life quality. There are many ways, YOU as a HUMAN BEING can contribute to Meowy Cat Shelter. So if you love to care for animals, JOIN US!!! If you wanna help but prefer to offer a technical skill (business, marketing, drawing, etc.) All in all, we love to hear from the public. We are in need of support and every little effort counts and will contribute to the sustainability of Meowy Cat Shelter. JOIN US!!! Together We Save Lives!!!

Meowy kittens at Balik Pulau was surprised with another group from Inti Penang Pre U Society on 15th Nov, who also raised fund for Shelter expenses. Amount received RM780. Thank you everyone.
They also spend around 2 hours playing with cats , kittens, briefing, question and answer time .

On going donation for cat litter. Each day Shelter in need of 5 bags of cat litter for it's 150+ cats and kittens that are at Mainland and Balik Pulau. Total/month use estimated at 150+ bag
Each cat litter is at RM9.50/bag.
We need our 150 faithful Meowy friends to donate 1 bag each. Help them to have a better pooping litter. any amount donated is much appreciated.

Our Story

Hi There! Thank you for visiting Meowy Cat Shelter. Meowy Cat Shelter was set up in September 2014 with a dying cat name Kaka. Kaka was a hit and run cat that was found in the middle of the road in May 2014. With its head injured and struggling for life. Kaka was nursed back to health and journey to find a home for her begun. Alas , I am not able to find a home just a lot of rejections. At the same time I discovered that there are no place for special need cats and kittens. “ MEOWY BORN SEPT 2014”

An average of 50 kittens been accepted by Shelter with a survival rate of 80% monthly and an average adoption rate of 30 kittens per month. Adult cats with serious case are accepted at an average of 15 cats and survival rate depending on the extend of injuries.

Kittens room was set up , instead of cage up they have their place to play.

TRAP , NEUTER AND REHOME area are set up
