Ding ding! Just cause you are feeding a "cooked" or "fresh food" diet, doesn't matter how its prepared (gently cooked, or marketed as "nutritionally prepared"); as long as the diet isn't formulated well, and the nutritional analysis isn't released transparently to everyone, you won't be feeding what they need or survival.
Always ask:
🔺 are they able to show you a full (not crude/typical) nutritional analysis?
🔺 are they able to explain to you how are things like vitamin E, manganese etc supplied in the diet? Sometimes a fresh food source doesn't supply enough and it has to be supplemented
🔺 would they be able to provide a diet formulated and catered to the size of the animal? Small animals require more nutritionally dense diets per gram 😉
Hit us up if you have any questions and we're happy to answer! Our nutritional analysis is available to view in the link in our bio too 🥳
