Paracetamol atau lebih dikenali sebagai Panadol bersifat racun kepada Si bulus terutamanya kucing. Dos yang kecil boleh menyebabkan kerosakan hati dan kematian haiwan. Tanda-tanda keracunan boleh dilihat selepas beberapa jam sehingga beberapa hari jika termakan ubat tersebut . Oleh sebab itu, rawatan hendaklah diberi secepat mungkin untuk menyelamatkan haiwan kesayangan. Sebagai seorang pemilik haiwan yang bertanggungjawab kita haruslah menjauhkan ubat daripada Si bulus, berhati-hati dengan ubat yang mengandungi paracetamol, mendidik pemilik lain tentang bahaya ubat tersebut dan sentiasa tahu klinik haiwan yang berdekatan jika berlaku kecemasan.
Mencegah lebih baik daripada merawat. Sebarkan kesedaran tentang bahaya keracunan paracetamol kepada pemilik si bulus lain.

Paracetamol, commonly known as Panadol, is a common human medicine used to manage fever. However, it can be extremely poisonous to our pets especially cats. A small dose can cause severe liver damage and lead to death. Symptoms can develop several hours to days after ingestion and thus early treatment is vital. As a responsible pet owners, it is crucial to keep medicine out of pets’ reach; be cautious with medicine containing paracetamol; educate others about the risk and know your nearest vet available for emergency.
Prevention is always better than cure. Share this info to spread the awareness!

Paracetamol也就是我们熟悉的Panadol对于我们的毛孩是有害的。作为一个负责任的主人，我们有必要了解这个资讯以防止相关中毒事件发生。Paracetamol能对猫狗造成致命伤害，猫咪更是首当其冲，低剂量就能造成肝脏受损，并破坏红血球，最后死亡。中毒症状能在数小时甚至数天后显现。因此，任何剂量的服食都应该尽快就医，以免造成不可逆的伤害及死亡。主人应当将药物放在毛孩不能接触到的地方；小心含有paracetamol的复合药物；教育您的家人朋友不擅自喂食药物；了解附近紧急兽医诊所以便中毒事件发生时能尽快带毛孩就医。
及时治疗可以提高康复机会。如果您怀疑毛孩误食药物，尽快就医或许能挽救一切。预防胜于治疗，通过分享及教育，我们能提供一个更安全的环境给予毛孩。
