Some collies, sheepdogs, and collie- or sheepdog-cross breeds are more sensitive to ivermectin than others. This is because a specific genetic mutation (MDR1) that makes them less able to tolerate high doses of ivermectin. If taken ivermectin , there is high chances of toxicity and it can lead to death . So it is best to consult your vet for proper anti parasitic drug for your dog .
