💥NEWS💥 The Kingdom of Bhutan has become the first country in the world to declare that its entire street dog population is fully sterilised and vaccinated following years of investment in a humane dog population management programme 🎉

At the formal closing ceremony of the National Dog Population Management and Rabies Control Project in the capital Thimphu, the Royal Government of Bhutan announced this historic achievement for animal welfare and human health 🐶🧍🏻‍♀️

The success follows a decade and a half of intensive, targeted spaying and neutering work and community engagement initiatives carried out by Bhutan in partnership with HSI. Since its inception, the project has successfully sterilised and vaccinated more than 150,000 street dogs and micro-chipped 32,000 pet dogs 💉

The reason why you want to keep a pet may be: it is very cute and docile, and you want to have a companion to relieve loneliness... But before deciding to keep a pet, can you ask yourself: is it really suitable for you have pets? Can they be taken care of?
The nine sentences on the American "Dog Ownership Certificate" are also suitable for friends in Malaysia and even the world who plan to raise dogs to read.

1. My life is likely to last 10 to 15 years. Any separation from you will be painful for me. Remember that before you buy me.
2. Give me time to understand what you want from me. Don’t be impatient, short-tempered, or irritable.
3. Don’t be angry for me for long and don’t lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your entertainment and your friends. I have only you.
4. Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don’t understand your words. I understand your voice when it’s speaking to me.
