We have officially launched our nationwide AgTech deployment initiative.

A special thanks to the collaboration with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation , which has provided us with the opportunity to assist both farmers and urban farmers in adopting IoT smart farming systems. These systems enable the automation of hydroponic and fertigation farm nutrient control. By implementing these solutions, we believe we can help farmers achieve higher yields while reducing operating costs.

We also extend our gratitude to Greenbug Farm for the collaboration.We believe there is significant potential for collaboration among urban farmers as well, working together to create a better and more sustainable future.

Did you know that Johor Bahru City Centre (JBCC) will be renamed to Ibrahim International Business District (IIBD)? This transformation marks the start of an exciting rejuvenation process to position Malaysia's southernmost city as a key international hub.

The vision for IIBD embraces green living, sustainability, multiculturalism, and advanced technology, with Johor Corporation (JCorp) leading this remarkable initiative. Their goal? To make IIBD a national gateway we can all be proud of.

We are deeply honored by the invitation from JLG, a JCorp's real estate arm that driving this transformation, to share how urban farming can play a pivotal role in this journey—making IIBD a truly inspiring and sustainable city.

We are thrilled to collaborate with Maybank Foundation in celebrating Maybank Global CSR Day at Taman Setapak Permai. As part of the event, we are proud to announce the launch of the Taman Setapak Permai Community Farm, officiated by YB Nik Nazmi, Minister of Natural Resources, Environment sustainability, and Climate Change Malaysia. The ceremony also attended by Izlyn Ramli, CEO of Maybank Foundation, and Mr. Ahmad Ibnu Sina, representing the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur.

This event provides us with a valuable opportunity to introduce our urban farming project to the local community, the Minister, Maybank foundation and DBKL. We aim to showcase the importance of urban sustainability and how technology can play a vital role in empowering sustainable initiatives.

🌱 Urban Farm Tech x IMCD Back at SKJE! 🌱

Last Friday, August 9th, 2024, we returned to SKJE for another exciting Smart Farming workshop! 🎉 The students got hands-on experience with germination, running a hydroponic tower, and even making their own pesto sauce. Plus, we harvested the crops from our last visit at the SKJE Smart Farm! 🌿✨
