We gladly hosted some 30 members from various states of Bahagian Kejuruteraan Jabatan Pertanian led by Ms Yaashinni at our customer farm, Commons Farming at Penang on July 11th 2024.

This is the kind of exchange we like to engage with Jabatan Pertanian on the Indoor Vertical Farming Technology and Solutions provided by both Sananbio and Square Roots Urban Farming. The team acknowledges the success story of this Smart Agriculture farm.

Our Indoor Vertical Farming solutions is well adopted by some 25 indoor farming operators in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei now.

Indoor Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) is an innovative approach to growing crops in a controlled, enclosed environment. What we address here is, pesticides free, contributing to safer and healthier produce. By locating farms closer to consumers, CEA reduces carbon emissions from long distance transportation. It also minimizes soil depletion and contamination caused by conventional farming practices lead to landslides. Controlled environments provide a comfortable and predictable setting for growers.
