Updates on the DISTEMPER PUPPIES!
They're doing perfectly fine and getting stronger and fitter by the day 💪🏻 We're immensely thankful for all the donors who have helped us to clear their vet bills as well as pay ahead for their boarding fee.
Fund collected for the boarding expenses lasts us until today (15/11/2024). For the upcoming days they will be charged RM40/ per puppy/ per day.
Approximately they'll be quarantined at the centre for about another 2 weeks which will cost us almost RM1200 in total.

Updates for DISTEMPER PUPPIES
8-11-24
The puppies that were infected with CDV are doing really well now! Previously, one of their conditions had worsened a bit and we had to restock on medication and vitamins. Despite everything, the little one pushed through and is able to eat on her own.
However, we still need additional funds to cover the remaining accommodation fees. Please consider helping us so we can continue to care for these precious animals.
Total donations for boarding update:
RM1958 (enough to last till 15/11)

Remember our DISTEMPER PUPPIES
Thank you to everyone who has supported our two rescued puppies who were diagnosed with CDV. They are now being quarantined at a boarding center to prevent the spread of infection and to ensure they receive the care they need in a safe, isolated environment.
To those who wish to support, we are seeking help with their boarding costs, which are RM100 per day. We expect they’ll need to stay for at least a month to recover fully. Your support helps us continue caring for these puppies and the other animals at the shelter waiting for treatment.
Every night, we check in on our two little fighters battling canine distemper, hoping today brings even a small improvement. Finally, tonight, on Friday, 1-11-24, we received some good news—the little brown puppy has started eating on his own. It’s a small but encouraging sign.
Thank you to Anand, who has cared for them even during the Deepavali celebrations. We are hopeful these puppies will keep getting stronger and overcome this virus.
Thank you so much for standing by us.
We deeply appreciate your kindness and generosity during this critical time. Every bit helps, and we are grateful for your continued support!

Also we'll be more than happy to get her rehomed as well! Share this post to get as much reach as possible 💗
Sadly our little boy had to be taken back from the adopters family due to them not being able to spend time with the new puppy and give him the attention he needs.
He's now at the shelter and happy with his siblings, but we're expecting him to be rehomed soon too!
A friendly message about taking care of a newly adopted puppy involves a few key steps:
1. Create a safe space: Set up a comfy area with a bed, water, and toys. Make sure the space is safe and free of hazards.
2. Stick to a routine: Puppies learn faster with a regular schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and playtime.
3. House training: Take your puppy outside often, especially after eating or waking up. Praise and reward them when they go potty in the right spot.
4. Feed and hydrate: Feed your puppy high-quality food several times a day, and always provide fresh water.
5. Socialize: Introduce your puppy to new people, places, and sounds to help them grow confidently.
6. Vet checkups: Visit the vet for health checkups, vaccinations, and advice on care.
7. Exercise and play: Give your puppy plenty of playtime and exercise to burn off energy and stay healthy.
8. Start training early: Teach basic commands like "sit" and "stay" using positive reinforcement.
9. Be patient and loving: Puppies will make mistakes, so be patient and offer lots of love and guidance.
With these tips, your new puppy will feel happy, safe, and loved in their new home.
