What can I say… it’s been a chaotic week at The FourFeet Crib.

We’ve taken in several new rescues. And this time, it’s not just cats. A mother dog and her three puppies were in danger after we received word that MBIP was coming to catch them. Alhamdulillah, all four were safely rescued just in time. The mother has been taken to a shelter, two of the pups were adopted by a kind-hearted construction boss and this adorable little cutie is now with us at The Crib.

How can we turn a blind eye and just walk away? We simply can’t. It’s not in us.

Right now, our shelter is bursting with life, from senior cats and playful kittens, to 3 rescued dogs plus this one more and even a terrapin. We do what we can, every single day, with everything we have.

But the truth is, our expenses are rising faster than we can keep up. With more mouths to feed, medical bills, vaccinations, sterilizations and daily needs. Frankly, it’s getting harder to make ends meet.

We really need your support.

This morning, we found Abi curled up quietly in a corner, unlike her usual curious self. Her right eye had worsened overnight, looking painfully swollen and her once playful energy had faded into stillness.

We rushed her to the vet.
She didn’t protest. She just laid there, trusting us, maybe too weak to do anything else.

It’s one of the hardest parts of rescue work. Watching a tiny soul, who once bounced around like sunshine, suddenly grow silent and not knowing what tomorrow will bring.

Abi is not the only one. Several of our kittens are down with flu-like symptoms and it’s spreading fast. We’re doing all we can; meds, vet visits, isolation but it’s exhausting, emotionally and financially.

Please keep Abi and all the affected little ones in your prayers. We’re holding onto hope and we know you are too.

Wishing our babies a full and speedy recovery.
May they find their strength again, their spark, their mischief.

Kejam tahap IsRaHell!!!!!

Rancangan Kerajaan Negeri Sembilan untuk melupuskan anjing liar di kawasan perumahan majoriti Melayu menerima kecaman daripada aktivis masyarakat dan pejuang kebajikan haiwan.

Pengerusi Pertubuhan Bersatu Negeri Sembilan, Datuk Seri S Surash menyifatkan kenyataan Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun sebagai tidak sensitif dan bercanggah dengan prinsip kemanusiaan.

“Tindakan membunuh anjing liar bukan sahaja kejam malah menunjukkan kegagalan kerajaan negeri mengurus isu ini secara berilmu dan berperikemanusiaan.

Good Morning to our beloved friends, followers and supporters.

Here I am once again, humbly reaching out with an appeal for The FourFeet Crib's May expenses.
For the past few months, despite our best efforts, our budget simply hasn’t been enough. We recently did a recalculation and the truth is heartbreaking. Our expenses have quietly crept far beyond our original target. Month after month, we found ourselves spending over RM10,000 just to keep the shelter running. We now care for over 70 cats & kittens, 3 dogs and a terrapin, with new rescues and births adding to our growing family. As the little ones grow, so do their needs and so do the costs.
We have been spending and spending, unaware that our expenses had far exceeded the RM8,000 we initially aimed to raise.

Here’s the breakdown of our current monthly expenses:
Rental: RM1,600
Staff Salary: RM1,600
Utilities (TNB/SAJ): RM500
Kibbles (Cats & Dogs): RM2,800
Canned Food: RM2,300
Litter Sand: RM1,500
Miscellaneous (Detergents, Tissues, P*e Pads, etc.): RM700
Total: RM11,000 (S$3,300)

And these numbers do not even include vet visits, vaccinations, sterilizations, medicines and supplements; all of which are essential to keeping our little ones healthy.

We have been struggling silently behind the scenes, doing everything we can to make ends meet. Although we have received generous support from kind-hearted donors (whom we are eternally grateful to), sadly, we have never been able to meet the full amount needed each month. Every ringgit received has been a lifeline, a little ray of hope allowing us to stretch a bit further but the reality is, it’s still not enough.
We are fighting every day with love, with sweat, with heartache to keep this mini shelter running. These are not just numbers to us; these are lives. Innocent souls who depend entirely on us for their survival. We cannot turn our backs on them halfway. We won’t. Their lives matter. But we cannot do this alone.

We are appealing from the depths of my heart, if you can find it in your heart to help us, no matter how small, it would mean the world to us and the many furry souls who call The FourFeet Crib their home. Your support doesn’t just help pay bills, it gives hope, it sustains lives, it keeps the dreams of a safe haven alive for those who have no one else.

These are some of our rescues.
They once roamed the streets, forgotten and unseen. Some were born into a hard life, never knowing the warmth of a home. Others had homes once, only to be abandoned by humans they trusted, left to fend for themselves when they became "inconvenient."

Each one of them carries a story of survival, resilience and quiet hope.
Like the kitten found by the side of a heavy highway, a cat under a car during a heavy rain, soaked to the bone but still clinging to life.
A mother dog and her 2 puppies, once someone's loyal companion, nearly dumped because their human didn't want them anymore.
And a pregnant cat who wandered the streets, desperate for a safe place to give birth, only to find hunger and danger waiting around every corner.

When I look into their eyes, I see not just sadness. I see strength. I see souls who, despite everything, still dare to trust again, to love again.

Today, they are safe with us. Fed, cared for and most importantly, loved.
But the truth is, "I can't do this alone."
Every rescue, every meal, every vet visit... it all happens because of people who choose to care.
There are still so many more out there, waiting for their second chance.

They didn't choose to be strays.
They didn't choose to be abandoned.
But together, we can choose to save them.

Please do not abandon your pets because they are family, they are just like your kids.
