I can’t take my dog for a walk on the beach because it bothers you and disrupts your vacation. I’m not allowed to rent a house if I have a dog, and public transportation is off-limits, too. But when disaster strikes, I can bring my dog to search through the rubble after an earthquake. I can bring them into the woods to find you when you get lost in the mountains without a map or GPS. My dog will dig through mud to save you when you’ve taken a dangerous detour off-track. Or dive into the water when, despite the warnings, you’ve ignored the red flag and entered the sea, risking your life.
Yes, it’s "just a dog"—but that dog will find you, and it will save you.

**Appeal for JANUARY 2025 Donations to Support The FourFeet Crib**

Caring for over 60 furkids is a labor of love that comes with immense effort and financial responsibility. Unfortunately, the past few months have been particularly challenging for us. Nearly half of our cats have been battling a persistent flu virus. While some were treated at the vet and others responded briefly to various medications and supplements. And till this very day, the virus continues to linger.

As we welcome the New Year, we also face the monthly responsibilities of running the shelter.

Our Monthly Expenses:
Rental : RM1,400
Utilities : RM400+
Caregiver Salary : RM1,500
Kibbles (Cats & Dogs) : RM1,800
Canned Food (Cats & Dogs) : RM1,500
Litter Sand : RM1,000
Miscellaneous : RM500 (e.g., tissues, detergents)
Total: RM8,000 (S$2,500)
Donation Recd (As of 7th Jan) : $330/- & RM150/-

We’re deeply grateful for the support we received in December, which allowed us to cover many of these costs. However, all donations have now been fully utilized. With a new month ahead, we’re once again seeking your kindness to help us sustain our mini shelter and provide for our furkids.

Some people simply do not understand. They say things behind your back, make nasty comments, criticize, condemn and sometimes even curse you. But do we care? We don't, we just continue doing good. After all, they are God's creations too.

Helping humans and helping animals are equally important. In the end, all that matters is kindness, to all creatures, without exception.
