Our practice, coming to its 14th year of practice, takes prides in offering compassionate service and precise veterinary care to our furry patients and their parents.

We are a friendly team consisting of 5 vets and 10 supporting staffs. Working with us means being part of an established team of experienced, fun, and friendly vets and nurses!

Our philosophy is being helpful with accurate diagnosis, hence making it simple with straightforward yet effective therapeutic approach, and eventually fostering responsible pet ownership and pet welfare.

In Valley Pets we are equipped with CR and DR radiography, ultrasonography, echocardiography, ECG, NIBP device, in-house hematology and biochemistry, serology diagnostic machine, laser therapy, cryosurgery, electrosurgical unit, dental machine, multifunctional ICU chambers, and many more.

We promote staff wellbeing and ensure a supportive and conducive environment. All vets and staffs of Valley Pets are protected by insurance. We encourage CPD conferences, workshops, and holidays with a flexible roster. Regular internal training, team building, gatherings, and functions foster teamwork and mental health. Notably, there is no sole charge, on-call, or after-hour work.

The practice mainly deals with dogs and cats, and occasionally exotic pets. While experience is preferred, new graduates are also welcome to apply.

Let's face it... allergies are frustrating and expensive❗️

As a dermatologist, I ask my owners to do A LOT. Flea prevention, diet trials, symptomatic itch treatment, immunotherapy, bathing 🧼, mousse, sprays, diagnostics, etc. Over the course of a pet's lifetime this really adds up and can be disheartening.

The importance of developing a game plan for your patient's allergies is to work WITH the owner and realize that allergies are not cookie cutter. There are so many different factors that feed into our ability to treat a pet's allergies (finances 💰, emotional bandwidth, patient tolerance, owner capability, etc.). Sometimes we can do a bunch at once and sometimes we have to breadcrumb our plan over several appointments.

Meet my own allergic dog, Josie. Even as a dermatologist's dog she flares, I get frustrated and her plan isn't perfect. But Josie's journey has allowed me to really empathize with owners and that is invaluable. How many of you have your own allergic pets at home? 👇
