New home: Fleas can exist in homes other people have lived in.

Other animal places: Catteris, shelters/rescues, a vet’s office.

Transmission from other animals: If there are other pets in the home or visiting animals, fleas can be transferred to the indoor cat.

Rodents: Rodents can bring fleas into house.
