A Letter to Every Kind-Hearted Soul
Dear Friend,
As you read this letter, we hope you feel the weight of our hearts as we share a story of life and love.
Not long ago, we found a 5 small puppy abandoned by the roadside, shivering in the cold, its eyes filled with fear and helplessness. We don’t know the pain it endured or the fate it awaited. All we knew was that we couldn’t leave it there. We brought it back to our shelter, gave it a name, a warm meal, and a safe place to rest.
But this is not an isolated story. Every day, we encounter countless animals just like this puppy—wandering, injured, and abandoned. Our shelter is overflowing with these little souls, each relying on us for a second chance at life.
However, we must admit that the path of rescue is becoming increasingly difficult. The overwhelming costs of medical care, vaccinations, food, and shelter weigh heavily on us, making it hard to keep going. We once believed that love alone could carry us through, but reality has forced us to face the limits of our strength.
This is why we turn to you, placing our last hopes in the kindness of others. Maybe you can share this message with someone who cares. Maybe you can donate the cost of a cup of coffee to help these animals. Maybe you can even open your home and heart to one of these furry friends. **For the Future of These Innocent Lives, Please Lend a Helping Hand**
My name is Yong, and I am the current person in charge of Meefah Homeless Animals Shelter. Over five years ago, I took over this shelter because of a promise I made to Auntie Meefah. Since then, I have been committed to providing a safe haven for these homeless and helpless animals, ensuring they have a place to call home despite the storms of life.
These past five years have been filled with countless challenges. The road has been tough and full of obstacles, but I persevered time and time again because I couldn’t bear to abandon the innocent eyes that looked up at me with hope.
Today, however, the shelter is facing its most critical moment. Our resources have been completely depleted, and we are on the verge of closure. Every day, I wake up at the crack of dawn, doing everything I can to find food for the animals, determined not to let them go hungry. But the shelter’s enormous operating costs have exceeded what I can manage alone.
**Now, with no other choice, I humbly reach out to the public for help.**
For the sake of these innocent lives, for the shelter that has protected them, we urgently need your support. Your kindness and generosity can bring hope and life to these animals:

Following the filing at the IPD SENTUL Police Station yesterday, a memorandum will be presented at the DVS PUTRAJAYA headquarters at 3 pm on Friday, 18 • 10 • 24, demanding justice for KOPI and advocating for humane treatment of stray animals.
