Q, for adoption to loving furever home! 🐾❤🏠 Please share and help save her from a life on the streets 🙏

"Hi, I'm Q, named for my question mark tail. I'm one of many pet cats dumped at a grocery store in Kuah. Luckily, I was spotted by Rozy, the nice lady that runs 4Paws Langkawi, and she took pity on me when she saw that I was pregnant and limping.

"With my healthy appearance, shiny coat, and sweet personality, it was clear that I was someone's pet and had been dumped recently. She quickly contacted my foster mum for assistance to bring me for a vet appointment in a couple of days. My foster mum found me at the grocery store and I surprised her by giving birth to 4 kittens that night! Sadly, 2 of my babies had died in utero, causing this miscarriage. The other two babies, tiny and premature, hung on for a few days but they have also passed away even though my foster mum fought so hard to help me keep them alive. She thinks I might have been kicked hard or hit by a motorcycle and this is why I have a bad limp and I lost my babies.

"At first there was talk of returning me to the grocery store after I have been spayed so I would be a TNR kitty. But now my foster mum says that I am disabled and shouldn't be released. The problem with my leg is called a luxating patella and there isn't much we can do about it in Langkawi, but I can live with it! I walk around with ease and can even get into my foster mum's bed for snuggles. I can't run though, and I can't climb or jump high, so I need a real home. I don't want to go back to the grocery store so this is all good news to me actually! 😉😁

To help me raise funds for neutering the wrinkliest Langkawi puppy at the end of July, I am open for cat boarding and available for drop-in pet-sitting home visits throughout the month of July only! 1-2 cats at a time only (whole room or 3-tier cage) and 1 household for home visits (Kuah area). Yoshi is now 4 months old, huge for his young age, a wrinkly goofball blasting his way through life with lots of joy! Still available for adoption to a loving home ❤️

The next big (and best!) thing in animal welfare in Langkawi. If you still haven't heard about TNR Langkawi - A Community Project, get yourself informed and involved! Langkawians are always complaining about the many stray dogs here. Some are sad, concerned, and worried about their welfare. Most are hateful and just wish they were dead.

Whatever your views, research has shown that mass sterilization is the only effective, humane, and ethical way to control the stray dog (and cat!) population.

Here's your chance to contribute to the cause. Sponsor a spay/neuter and bring Langkawi one step closer to being a stray-free society. The group is powered by volunteers and funded by donations so it's not going to happen without your support and action. No point complaining there are too many dogs and doing nothing to help these awesome people get the population under control.

We are consistently neutering between 15-20 dogs each month and this is largely thanks to support from donors like Rotary Club Langkawi Cottage By The Sea Langkawi - Formerly The Frangipani 4Paws Langkawi and of course YOU.

Our next mass spaying session is 15 & 16 May (next week Mon & Tues). If you're also serious about being a part of the solution, join us in neutering as many stray dogs as possible! Yoshi needs a loving home! This little guy was found all alone in a deep storm drain in Langkawi and now needs someone to love and take care of him. We tried to find his mama but haven't had any luck. He's about 2 months old, healthy, chubby, brave, and smart. He has had no problems eating puppy kibble and chicken with rice.

A temporary foster home would also be very helpful as I work full-time, have many other pets, and do not have the time and space to raise him well. I am out of the house all day 🙁I will cover the cost of food, vaccinations, neutering, and any other medical expenses that may arise. He has already been treated for fleas/ticks and had a bath.

He is in Langkawi but available for adoption to Penang, KL, or elsewhere in Malaysia. Transport can be arranged. Please contact me if you can help Yoshi have a safe and secure future. Serious enquiries only please.

Meet Remy! She was rescued from Rebak Jetty with an awful injury and almost lost her eye. Now, after several weeks of TLC from her doctor at Klinik Haiwan Cenang and her foster parents, Remy is happy and healthy. She still needs medication for her eye as it's a work in progress. Getting better every day! She does have sight in that eye and it will look better as it heals. Anyway, we think she's absolutely stunning with that sweet face of hers.

Guys, meet Sorbet. This little guy has had a really really tough start to life but after several weeks of TLC and treatment for his many ailments, he is now thriving!

Sorbet is available for adoption to a loving home with responsible guardians. He has been dewormed and frontlined. His fur is growing back well after many many Malaseb baths. He hasn't been vaccinated yet but this can be done soon. He will also need to be neutered before or by the time he is 6 months old.

For adoption to loving home - Dusty

A couple of months ago, this beautiful boy was dumped at a spot where I feed stray cats. As an abandoned pet, he's unsuited for street life and is not adapting well. Always stressed when the tough territorial alpha males are around, he hides often and only pops out for food when he hears my car coming.

This morning I trapped him again and brought him to the clinic for a recurrent wound. He'll be staying with me for a little while until he recovers. I don't want to release him after this. He needs a home.

Dusty was neutered in January, is fully vaccinated, and up to date on Advocate Cat treatments. He's a very sweet, gentle, mellow cat and would do better living indoors. An upcoming dog bathing day at World Of Our Furry Friends (WOOFF Langawi)!!

Thanks to Covid and multiple MCOs, it has been a very long time since we gathered as a group for a dog bathing day. Jeffery Tan has been keeping the dogs clean and tick-free mostly on his own.

Now that the weather is dry and restrictions have eased, let's get together and help him with the following:

🐾 Bathing the dogs
🐾 Weighing the dogs
🐾 Administering ivermectin to prevent parasites
🐾 General maintenance and cleaning tasks that Jeff may need help with that day

Wear comfortable clothes and bring your own cold drinks.

Donated items are most welcome! If you can spare it, please bring kennel wash, pet shampoo, dog and cat food, rice, cat litter, and collars.

When I first met these beauties about a year ago, they were young kittens newly adopted from Langkawi LASSie. Now they've blossomed into beautiful, confident, cheeky, and funny adult cats. A testament to the love and care they receive from their mama. It's a good feeling for me to have a tiny part in their lives and get to see how they have grown and changed. Also, these 2 make me laugh and I love having them here for boarding 😻

It was recently brought to my attention that a new Langkawi pet sitting business had plagiarized the content of my marketing materials, specifically 2 of my original documents:

1) Drop-in Pet Sitting Home Visits
2) Drop-in Pet Sitting Home Visit Inclusions

Upon seeing that content I authored and own had been copied without my permission and was being circulated on social media, I immediately contacted the business by messaging them through their page. They denied plagiarizing my content claiming that they had come up with it through "research" and said they were sorry "if you think I'm imitating your marketing". However, this was far beyond a mere imitation and after I sent them side by side comparisons of their marketing material with mine, they went silent. Soon after, their page disappeared.

To date I have not received any apology or acknowledgment of wrongdoing and I do not know if they are still passing off my words and service description as their own on other platforms. I have consulted a lawyer but will not take this further at this time.

Instead I would like to make a declaration:

Pulau Pet Sitter Services, a legally registered business entity, with registration no. 202003099085 (KT0464322-T), is not and has never been associated with Your Pet Sitter - Langkawi. I have not given my permission, written or otherwise, for the use of my original marketing content to be used by other individuals or business entities. I am the author and owner of my work. I am not responsible for individuals who may have been misled into believing that Your Pet Sitter - Langkawi is me, my representatives, colleagues, or affiliates.

I often act as a middle person between other pet-sitters and clients, recommending other experienced and trustworthy caregivers whenever I am unavailable for bookings. I don't take any commission or referral fee. In that way I believe I have been very supportive of the pet-sitting community as I wish to see it grow in the hope that quality services for pets in Langkawi will encourage more people to adopt the island's many homeless cats and dogs. That said, my brand is my own and not representative of any other pet sitter or pet care service. Other pet sitters do not work for Pulau Pet Sitter Services. There is only one Pulau Pet Sitter.

It is not my intention to denigrate Your Per Sitter - Langkawi. The plagiarism of my words is not a reflection of the quality of their services. I have no knowledge of or experience with their services. I hope they are excellent pet sitters and I wish them success.

Meet Fluffy. This handsome boy was abandoned by his humans and found locked inside the house without food and water after they moved out. Luckily he was rescued by a lady who went to check on the house. He's doing very well now and needs a loving furever home.

Fluffy is about 8 months old and was neutered last week. He has also had his first vaccination and a dose of Advocate.

Dear friends,
I regret to inform you that starting from November 8th, I will no longer be providing boarding services for dogs and drop-in pet-sitting home visits in locations more than a couple of kilometers from my own house. With the reopening of the island, I am returning to office work and will not be able to spend enough time with your dogs. It wouldn't be fair to them or to you as I will not be providing the high standard of care, attention, and exercise that they deserve.

I am happy to recommend other experienced and dedicated caregivers.

Thank you for trusting me with your pups. I have enjoyed my time with them very much and I hope they felt the same way ❤️💕

My foster babies still need a loving home together! There have been a few requests to adopt them separately, which I'm considering, but I'd really prefer if they could stay together and indoors. If any of you responsible fur-parents would consider adopting them both, please PM me for more info.

They are both neutered, fully vaccinated, and up to date on flea/tick/worm treatments. They are about 4 and a half months old. They are hand-reared bottle babies and very affectionate.
