Vaccination & Deworming Day for Our Furry Family (Cats & Dogs)
Date: Sunday, 13th October 2024 10am-4pm.

We’re planning a special day dedicated to keeping our beloved pets healthy and happy! If you’re committed to participating, please register your interest so we can gauge overall participation and prepare vaccine supplies to prevent wastage.

Important: Please only register if you’re certain of your participation. Cancellations will result in blacklisting from future events.

Sponsorship Opportunity:
We are also seeking sponsors to help cover the costs of vaccinating and deworming the stray cats in our condo. Our goal is to raise RM 1,500, which will ensure these strays receive the care they need by having this first line defense against common diseases.

Please note that this is a non-profit event and your support for the voiceless furries is greatly appreciated.

Building stronger commUnity - Creating new possibilities for everyone in 2024 for everyone in BOUG.
17th December 2023 Sunday from 10AM to 3PM.
The event will be held near the swimming pool and include tables for our local shops to display and sell their products and services. Also, there will be tables for residents to sell their “pre-loved” or homemade items in our Flea Market.

Activities include: Recycling awareness talk | Yoga Performance | Used oil recycling | Massage | Varieties Food Stall and Prelove or new items at great bargain! All invited!

It has been a long time since we have our very own residents gathering and after the past few years of challenges faced by everyone, it is now time to get together and start creating a strong commUnity foundation for the future together.

Whether you are building your families or you are building your career or have retired, you will want a good neighborhood where you can feel secured, loved, happy and joyful with strong commUnities support that contribute to your lovely homes.

We all worked hard and spent most of our times to career and with the little time we have we closed our doors to the outside world. In fact we are social creatures that need to connect and build lasting relationships that are healthy and progressive along our journey. All these years you have been living behind closed doors not knowing about your neighbour or building real relationship with your neighbour who could one day be your saviour when you have an emergency.

So we aim to bring some new changes and we will start with this Food Fair and Flea market for everyone to be able to connect and get to know everyone! At the same time you can shop and support our very own residents who took this opportunity to participate and make it livelier!

With commUnities, we can build a stronger foundation to being a close knit neighbourhood that can support each other in time of fun or challenges, be self sufficient where if there is ever another similar world event ie lockdown we can have all the resources we need in this community alone and have community peace. The ultimate possibilities is achieving communion - Communion is meant to restore and strengthen peace among us as a big community and family of Bukit Oug Condominium. With this community peace, we can also have a more wholesome inner peace.

So let’s band together and come down on the 17th December 2023 from 10am onwards! Let’s get connected and also share your talents, abilities, skills, resources etc to make this event and future events successful! What other possibilities have you not consider that if you would, would contribute to making year 2024 the year of positive changes for Bukit Oug Condominium?

Sponsorship received : 26 cats under sponsorship (contributed by Dave, Xinhui and family and an Anonymous couple)

I am looking for sponsorship for approx 14 more cats. This is their only line of defense against illness as they don't have a sheltered home or good food as healing. One cat is at only RM47

We still have approximately 10 community cats (no owner..love freedom) that need sponsor for vaccination and deworm. It's only RM47 per cat and it's a non profit yearly activity for them. Metta Cat at Block 13-CL-01 will be organising a vaccination and deworm non profit programme for residents with pets and community cats. The date tentatively is on Sunday 29th October 2023 starting at 1.30pm - 4.30pm. This will be the 1st time trial open up for dog vaccination and deworm based on request.

Interested participants to register to 0166728068 with owner/handler's name, each pet names and whether your cat need deworm or not.
If you have an existing vaccination card, please do bring along.

For dogs - Please state the vaccine needed for dogs if you know or the vet will attend on the day base on stock availability. Please ensure your furbaby is leashed. If your furry is perceived to be fierce (which means people see and is afraid it might bite) or bark excitedly, please consider a muzzle as I have catizens staying in the shop.
If you have an existing vaccination card, please do bring along.
Time slot for Dogs will be the last 1 hour ie 3.30pm-4.30pm.

*Limited space - Please respect time slot given and be punctual. Also, vaccination jabs are based on pre-registration to avoid wasted supplies, so please don't give me aeroplane...I don't own an airport...😂

Our condo has been featured in an article about "Pets in Condos" in the Star newspaper. It was written by our own resident, Grace Chen.

RESPONSIBLE pet owners who pick up their pets’ faeces when the animals defecate in public spaces are upset that others who do not do so are giving all of them and their pets a bad name.
