The “Planet” Makers
We are two ant keepers who became friends because of our shared passion and love for these little critters called ants. This passion has now turned into a partnership to offer our knowledge, experience and skills so that others can enjoy these amazing creatures.
What’s in the name We call ourselves Ant Planet because we build “planets” for ants and we have been doing it for 4 years. These are cities and worlds where ant colonies can thrive but at the same time allow us to observe and learn from their social structure.
Products and Services Our service and products consist of custom handmade natural formicarium and outworlds, and modern factory fabricated acrylic formicarium. These setups allow observation of their social structure for educational purpose or just for self-enjoyment. Together with this we provide information and maintenance services, all for the love of ants.
Why ants Ants have very intricate and detailed social structures. These ant cities and ant worlds can be displayed in farms, zoos, schools and for private ant keepers to observe or learn. Ants are amazing creatures and have much to teach us, if not amaze and amuse us.
