FUN FACTS ABOUT MICROGREENS 🌱

Microgreens, coined by Chef Craig Hartman in 1992, have a rich history dating back to ancient civilizations. In ancient China, sprouts were cultivated as early as 2737 BC for their health benefits.

Similarly, ancient Persians consumed wheat and barley sprouts, incorporating them into their diets and traditional recipes like Essene bread. The modern popularity of microgreens began in the late 20th century, but their roots in human diets extend back to these early agricultural practices!
